zoom revival night 9 KEYS 5/6/7 Understanding theLaw of the Double Witness 9/1/25

If you have your Bibles tonight, we're going to jump right in the Word. Try to be out of here by eight central, Lord willing. We're starting on the fourth key of the kingdom. We're giving you several keys to help open your understanding to the kingdom of God, Yahweh. And one of the keys that we have to develop is found in Matthew chapter 18 and verse 16. You know, when I came out of what I call Christianity, which is the Roman version of Christianity, I did not realize how important the Torah was in my life. I was taught that the Torah was nailed to the cross, and that the law that was in that Torah was done away with, and that I didn't need that any longer. And so most all of my doctrines came out of the New Testament. Almost all of our doctrines and my doctrines came out of the New Testament. And therefore, we were pretty much taught that we were a New Testament church, and that we didn't need the Torah. But if you're ever going to understand the kingdom concept, you will have to learn the law of the double witness, and that is our fourth key tonight. To understand the kingdom of Yahweh, you must understand the law of the double witness. And we read about that law in Matthew 18, 16. I'm not sure if Elder Morgan is with us tonight. If he is, he's welcome to read. Yes, sir. I'm here, Apostle. Amen. Thank you, Elder. Yes, sir. Matthew 18 and verse 16. But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. Amen. The only way you can get good doctrine, according to 2 Corinthians 13 and 1, is it must come from the mouth of the two witnesses. Now, if you've watched my teaching on the two witnesses, then you understand the two witnesses are spirit and truth, or shall we say, the original covenant, the renewed covenant, or as it's often called, the Old Testament, the New Testament, the Torah, and then the New Testament outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit must agree with the Torah, and the Torah must agree with the Spirit. So 2 Corinthians 13 and 1 reiterates that for us. Read that, Elder. Amen. 2 Corinthians 13 and 1. This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established. You must have the double witness. Any doctrine—let me give you a prime example. When it comes to the rapture of the church, you can find hints of that in the New Testament, but guess where you cannot find it? Anyone want to tell me? The Old Testament. You cannot find it in Torah at all. Can't find it in Torah. There's no rapture in Torah. I'll tell you what else is not in Torah is no mention of eternal torment, or us going to heaven, or us flying away. That's not in Torah. I could continue. For example, let me give you another example. When I was studying about women speaking in the church, if you've read my little booklet about women keeping silent, what finally brought me to the whole truth of the matter was I went to Torah. To find out if this was in Torah for the women to be quiet. And guess what? It's not. So what you have to do if you're going to understand the kingdom, you've got to realize the kingdom originates in Torah, in the tabernacle, in the priesthood, in all of the shadows that are in that beautiful law of Yahweh is the kingdom. And that's why we try to structure our ministry as close as we humanly can to the Torah. We may not get it perfect, but we are pursuant of the Torah. So now at the same time, if you're going to teach something out of Torah, it needs to line up with the spirit. Now, someone give me another word for the spirit. I'm looking for a specific word. I'll give you a hint. It starts with an I. Intent. Intent. Amen. Amen. Then that's true. Instructions, but even more important than instructions would be the intent. Because you know as well as I do, intent is what? Nine-tenths of the law. So you have to find the spirit behind the Torah. If you don't, then you won't understand why they were told to stone their children in the Torah. If you don't get the intent of what Yahweh was intending, there's another one of those cohortitative tenses, if you will. The very intention of Yahweh is revealed in the Torah. And if you find someone's intent, you have found their heart, or shall we say their mind. We call that a heart, but we know what that means. The heart of Yah is the law of Yah, the Torah. That's why he said David was a man after my own heart. He desired the same thing that I did, which was the fulfillment of the Torah. So it's so important that we not only get the law right, but the intent. If we don't get the intent right, let me teach you what happens. This is important. I've always said there's three enemies to truth. It's Romanism, Judaism, and Christianism, okay? All three—Romanism is another word for Hellenism, okay? All three add or take away. Judaism adds. Christianity takes away. Because if you don't get the intent right, you have to add more laws. You have to add more guardrails. For example, if you ever get the intent of the Sabbath right, if you ever get the intent of the Holy Days right, nobody has to teach you how to keep it. Nobody. Why? It teaches you because you've got the intent right. So a key that I'm giving you tonight, it's just like holiness. When I hear churches telling women how they have to dress, or men how they have to dress, you know what it tells me, don't you? It tells me that no one has the intent of holiness in that congregation, because when you get the intent of holiness—now, what happens if you don't get the intent? Then the pastor or the leadership has to make it more plain. And what? Add more laws. Do you know why the Torah was written? When I say the Torah, I'm referring to the 613 laws. Anybody want to take a snap at that? Why it was written? The New Testament tells us— that's a very good reason. The hardness of their heart. Bingo. And the Bible tells us in the New Testament that this was an added law. It's called an added law that never actually needed to have been written. Okay? But because their heart was hardened, meaning they did not get the spirit. They did not get the intent. Now, there was a few people—the remnant—that got the intent. They got it. Abraham got it. Moshe got it. There was a remnant that got it, but national Israel didn't get it. So anytime you do not get the intent of the law, then you need a church or a leader to say, okay, this is how you got to wear your clothes. I mean, look, if you're going to go out and wear a bikini in front of the whole church, somebody's got to say, all right, look, that's enough. Okay? In other words, they have to add to what should not have to be added to. So tonight, what I'm teaching you is, don't just ask Yahweh to teach you the Torah. Okay? Ask him to teach you the intent of his Torah. And if you get the intent of that Torah, you now have the two witnesses. You have the truth and you have the Torah. You know, if I'm driving through a school where there's children, let's just say that the sign of the speed limit got knocked over before I got to the schoolyard. Okay? And suddenly, I don't see a speed limit sign, but I see a school, right? I see children in the yard, but I don't see a sign. And so what do I do? If I only have truth, if you will, then the truth is, I didn't have to slow down. Anybody with me tonight? This is good. I'm getting it, Pastor. Amen. Amen. Thank you, Elder. The truth is, I did not have to slow down. I didn't. I can go to court and prove by truth that I did not have to slow down. And that is what they make jails for, people that have the truth, but not the intent. Because an honorable citizen automatically knows you don't need the sign. You don't need the truth. Because the Spirit has the truth within it. And so many people are getting Torah without the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and they're becoming Torah thumpers, if you will. And then you have people baptized with the so-called Holy Spirit rejecting Torah. And brothers and sisters, that will not bring you into the kingdom government. It will not bring you into the kingdom government. And so that's one of our first keys tonight, is that we must learn Spirit and truth. We read that in Revelation chapter 11, verse 3. Let's look at that real quickly. Revelation 11, verse 3. Amen. And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days clothed in sackcloth. These two witnesses have one job, and it's to prophesy or to preach into your life. So if you're ever going to take the kingdom by force, it will be because you have a two-witness ministry in your life. Now that was the fourth key. I'm going to try to rush through three of them tonight, because I'm running out of time to get all of these keys out. The next key that I want to talk to you about is found in 1 Corinthians chapter 2, verse 13. 1 Corinthians chapter 2, verse 13. Let's start there tonight, and we'll start looking into the second key that we all need to have. And by the way, I want to stop and thank Elder Jan Meadows for such a beautiful job. I finally got to hear your teaching today. Thank you for that beautiful job. It was wonderful about the month of Elul and our responsibility to the upcoming holy festivals. Beautiful job. So grateful for seasoned teachers and seasoned truth. It fed me today on the airplane. I was blessed, so blessed. 1 Corinthians 2 and 13. Amen. Which things also we speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches, but what the Holy Ghost teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. So there you go. Now this ties into the two-witness key, but this key brings us a little bit further. It's showing you that you cannot just go by the letter or the words of the Torah or the New Testament. You must find the Spirit. And how do we do that? That's the next thing we want to talk about. The way we find the spiritual thing is by, you know, when we were in school and even our Sabbath school children, we have something called match, where you would take two columns and you would take something on this side and draw a line to something on the other side that matched. You have to learn how to compare spiritual to spiritual. Paul said plainly, comparing or matching spiritual things with spiritual things. And that is a secret to finding the Spirit behind the Word. The purpose of comparing spiritual to spiritual is to find a spiritual match. There is a spiritual match for every symbol, every parable in the Word of Yahweh, specifically in the book of Revelation and the prophetic books. And when you start comparing spiritual to spiritual, suddenly you have a key in your hand that will unlock the whole Bible for you. Concepts. Let me give you a quick example. When you're reading in the Bible about Mount Zion, Mount Sion, if you don't know the spiritual meaning of that mountain, which is the government of Yahweh, then you can't compare spiritual to spiritual. When you get to so many things in the Word, heaven and earth, and we've already talked about some of these, when you get to the bowl judgments, when you get to these things, you start messing up because you're not finding that spiritual match that matches all through the Word of Yahweh. When you find the pattern, when you find the spiritual intent, you match that up with something else that you find, and you'll see the clicking of the Word begin to happen all through your studies. Let me give you an example of how that works. I'm going to bring up two scriptures for you, and we're going to look at them and see if we can find a match. Let's go to Revelation chapter 20, 12 through 15. We're going to start with Revelation 12, I'm sorry, 20 and 12 through 15, and I want to see if we can find a match in the Spirit tonight that will help us to see how to make these scriptures line up. Amen. I'm ready when you are, Elder. Yes, sir. Amen. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before Yahweh. And the books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead, which were in it. And death and hell delivered up the dead, which were in them. And they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever... Go ahead, sorry about that. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Now, this is something that I really want to focus on because I want to help you to see how to compare spiritual to spiritual. All right. Now, this verse is very... Let me see if I can pull it up on the screen for you to try to teach this, this particular verse. Here we go. We're going to compare this verse to 1 Corinthians chapter 3, 13 through 15. And I'm going to show you this fourth or fifth key of the kingdom, which is spiritual to spiritual. That's the name of this key, spiritual to spiritual. How you have to take and find a match in the word to get the proper understanding. Now, when we just read in Revelation 20, we found four things in that reading that matches perfectly with another scripture. 1 Corinthians 3, and I'll read this one just so we can see the four matching elements. I'll tell you what, before we read that, let's look back at Revelation 20. And I saw the dead small and great stand before God. Now, that's everybody. Okay. Now, go to 1 Corinthians 3, 13. Every man's work. Do you see the work in Revelation 20? Look down there. All right. We already have a match and it has to do with works. Go up to the top. We have another match. I saw the dead small and great. Now, go to 1 Corinthians first line, every man's work. So, we already have everybody and we already have the word work. So, we know this is talking about everybody's work. Now, go back to Revelation 20 and look at the screen and let's read the next line. And the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books according to their works. Go over to 1 Corinthians now. For the day shall declare it because it shall be revealed by fire. Uh-oh, we have another match. Go back to Revelation. We find the lake of fire. So far, we found everybody. We found works. We have found judgment and we have found fire. And that fire, 1 Corinthians 13, shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he has built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned in that lake of fire, in that fire, he will suffer loss of the reward. But he himself will be saved by the fire. My God. Oh, hallelujah. The wonder of it. My God. We have a perfect spiritual match. We have compared spiritual to spiritual. According to Paul, every man on planet earth, they will be thrown into the fire and the fire is what will save every man. My Lord. That's been in your Bible your whole life. You know what's funny? I just showed you one of the greatest revelations you've ever seen in your whole life. In your whole life. I just showed you a scripture that proves what Revelations 20 means in the writing of Paul. It is the exact same spiritual match. Powerful. And I just wonder if we get it. The spiritual drop that just landed in your lap tonight. A great mission. Yes, we do. Hallelujah. Is revealed by the great apostle Paul. Every man's work is going to be what? Tried in the fire. And the fire is going to be what saves every man. It's powerful, apostle. Thank you so much. This is amazing. Another tool to teach the kingdom. Amen. Just read it. If any man's work is burned up, you see something's going to be burned up. But notice what it's not talking about is going to be burned up. You don't see anywhere in these verses where the where the person is going to be burned up. You find where their works are going to be tried and burned in the fire. And yet every man will be saved. Hallelujah. By the fire. Because of fire. Hallelujah. It's all in the word of Yahweh. I laugh when people challenge me on the word. You don't know who you're talking to. This book is my life. When Yahweh told me to bring the message of restoration to the whole world, he wasn't playing. And he said, I'll give it to you where no one can defy your teaching. Because I'm going to show you from Genesis to Revelation, spirit and truth, my plans for the fire for all of mankind. And brothers and sisters, these two passages comparing spiritual to spiritual. Talks about every man. You can't deny that. Both verses. Every man. Both verses. Every man's work. The next key to the kingdom tonight. But after spiritual to spiritual that I want to give you. Is works versus grace. You've got to grasp the concept of works versus grace. If you're going to be kingdom minded. Because yes. Isn't there another scripture in the Old Testament about saying, the flame shall not hurt thee? Do you know where that is? I do. I can find it real quick, but I've definitely read it. And I'll tell you, there's another verse in Torah where Yahweh is speaking about how they threw their children in the fire. And he said, that thought has never crossed my mind to do such a thing. Why? Because they were throwing those children in the fire to destroy them. Yahweh said, if I throw you in the fire, it's to get you back out. After I have pulled the dross from out of you. And your bad works are destroyed in that fire. Exact same thing. That is the shadow. I was, thank you. Who said that? Somebody's comparing spiritual to spiritual. Who said that? That was me, Minister Jill. Amen, Minister Jill. Because when you find out the purpose of the fire, then you come to understand how to understand. You see, I started off tonight finding the intent, not just what the verse says. The verse says the lake of fire. But what is the father's intent for 6,000 years been for the fire? Well, we know because Paul told us the intent of it. When you start getting the heart of the Torah, when you start understanding that all of Yahweh's punishments are remedial, they are not punitive, they are remedial. As a matter of fact, it is the Torah itself that teaches us about remedial punishment. The purpose, if we ran our prison systems according to Torah, no one ever would be sitting in a prison. No, they would be out working to pay back their debt that they caused and being remediated. However, because we don't have Torah mentality, we think the punishment of God is just punishment. No, every punishment has a purpose, and it's to bring you back. It's to make you whole. That's the kind of God you serve, Israel. You serve a good God. You serve a God whose mercies are new every morning, even after you die. Hallelujah. His mercy never runs out. His mercy always is his intent. And brothers and sisters, I just call you tonight to know that there is a people under the sound of my voice who are no strangers to the fire. And we're going to talk about that some more tonight so you can understand that this next key, works versus grace. You've got to understand it. You've got to understand that salvation, if anyone ever tells you that First Harvest Ministries is teaching a works-based salvation, it's your duty to tell them they're wrong. We do not believe salvation is by works. Salvation is by grace through faith alone. Full stop. That's it. That's our doctrine. We're just like the Baptist when it comes to that. We believe in salvation by grace through faith alone. Nothing else can be added or taken away from salvation. However, entry into the kingdom government requires works. And it has nothing to do with salvation. This is your fifth or sixth key, whatever it is tonight, works versus grace. But the truth is, brothers and sisters, that's a misnomer. There's no such thing as works versus grace. There is grace that produces works. And that is a beautiful marriage. It goes together like a horse and like a carriage. You must know the difference between salvation and rulership. You must understand the difference in salvation and sanctification. Justification and sanctification. They are two different things. Let me show you another scripture that we must compare spiritual to spiritual. Matthew chapter 7. Matthew chapter 7, verse 21 through verse 23. Matthew 7, 21 through 23. Here's another scripture that if you don't know about government and kingdom and rulership, then you will totally misunderstand. If you don't know 36 to 100, outer court, inner court, holy of holies, then you can't comprehend this writing. Let's read it. Amen. Matthew 7, verses 21 through 23. Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven. Now let's pause right there. It didn't say you won't enter into heaven. What does it say? The kingdom. You will not enter in. And what's the other? What's the word for kingdom? Government. You will not enter into the government of heaven. You will not enter that government, even though you are saved. Because according to my Bible, the only thing a person has to do to be saved is confess that Yahshua is what? Lord. Now, Yahshua is telling a group of people here that have called him Lord. To me, this is the scariest verse in the Bible. A group of people that have called him Lord. He tells them you do not qualify to enter the government. So who does qualify? He tells them in the next verse or the next line. But he that keeps the commandments, which is in heaven, that's the only ones that can go into the kingdom, is those that keep the commandments. That's it. That's all that can go into the kingdom. OK. Read. Verse 22. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name and in thy name cast out devils and in thy name? Does everybody understand what that means? Do you understand, children, that these are sincere believers? These people are shocked. Do you not hear? They're shocked. They had the Holy Ghost. They had the Holy Spirit. Amen. Pastor Vaughn, how do you know that? The Bible, because I can compare spiritual to spiritual. And the word says that no man can cast out a devil except by the spirit of God. Amen. Amen, Apostle. These people had the Holy Spirit, but he told them in the line right before this that they were missing one of the witnesses. Does anybody see that? They had the spirit, but you're missing the other witness. You don't have two witnesses to bring you into the kingdom. You don't have two witnesses that will vouch for you to come into the government. You've got the spirit. Yes, you prophesied. Yes, you told people their addresses. You gave them a spiritual word. And you did cast out devils, yes. And you called me Lord. But you did not do the will of my Father. And what is the will of my Father? The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of the wisdom. And the Bible said to hear the conclusion of the whole matter, to fear God and do his commandments. That's the will of the Father. Yes, you called me Lord, but that was to get you a free ticket. It was not to get you in the government of heaven as the sons of Yahweh. Read. Amen. And in thy name done wonderful works. And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you. Depart from me, ye workers of iniquity or lawlessness. See, no, don't throw lawlessness in there. That makes it too plain. See, Pastor, it says these people were iniquity, wicked, horrible people. Workers of iniquity. Until you look up the word iniquity and you find out it ain't got nothing to do with a bunch of devil worshippers. It means antinomian, without law. You didn't the Torah. You're missing the witness. You're missing the second witness. Depart from me because you will be saved. But you will not walk with me because I'm going to have a bride that lives with me in New Jerusalem. And you're not in that bride. Thank you, Apostle. Thank you for making this make so much sense. Thank you, Elder, for appreciating the ministry. I said, I do appreciate this. I know you do. I see it in your face tonight. I watch faces when I teach because I see the response of the sowing of the seed. And tonight, Saint, I'm calling on you. I'm telling you, if you ever get spirit and truth, if you ever compare spiritual to spiritual, that's why so few people understand the word. You have people that know Torah, but they don't know the intent. You have people that follow the Holy Ghost, don't know the Torah. There's got to be a ministry in the last days that brings both of those together. The outpouring of the Holy Ghost. Do you remember when you first found this ministry and you realized that it had both of those? The joy in your heart. I pray that never leaves your heart. I pray that you don't ever, ever lose sight of what truly matters in this hour. The coming together, not only of the lost tribes, but the lost witnesses as well. Amen. They're to return. The witnesses are returning before the coming of Yahshua. Hallelujah. Let's look for a second witness. Go right ahead. Somebody chiming in. Two walk together, except they agree. Amen, Elder. And we're finding that out more and more every day, are we not? Matthew 5, 19 through 20. Let's see what Yahshua said. And by the way, this verse is your spiritual match. Key number four, whatever five, whatever key it was, spiritual to spiritual. Here's your spiritual match to the verse we just read. How do we make Matthew 7 make any sense? You just go to Matthew 5 and this will be your spiritual match. Read. Matthew 5, 17, Apostle. 19. 19. Amen. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom. He shall go. He shall go to hell. No, sir. Least in the kingdom. Oh, okay. Or would that be least of the kingdom government? That's exactly right. That's exactly right. This person will have no position in the kingdom government. None. The least means none. You're done. Who does that apply to? Those that teach men not to keep the Sabbath day holy. Those that teach men not to keep the feast anymore. Those that teach men not to keep the commandments of Yahweh, but it doesn't say that person is lost. It says they will not be in any position of authority in the kingdom of Yahweh. So, pastor, how do we enter in that kingdom? Yahshua tells you. Just read. Amen. But whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom government. Read the next verse. Now, pastor, that's me. I keep those commandments and I do them. Well, you might want to read the next verse because guess who else kept the commandments? The Pharisees. Let's read. Verse 20. For I say unto you that except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom government. Does anybody know anyone that kept the Sabbath more perfectly than the scribes and the Pharisees? I don't. They had the law, but not the spirit. They kept it to the letter. Well. To the letter better than anybody in this room. The letter kills. The letter kills. Because they lost the sacred simplicity of the Sabbath. Because they lost the prophetic shadow that it was. They lost the joy. They were not keeping Shabbat as a celebration of the millennial reign. They were not keeping these things the way we do. As a joyful looking forward, a celebrant. They turned it into a nightmare. They placed burdens upon the people. That were not in the Torah. And here's what Yahshua said. No, no, no. If you plan to be in the government, your righteousness will have to be greater than those that keep the Sabbath perfectly. You'll have to keep it spiritually. We're right back where we started, right? Spirit and truth. You've got to do more, children, than know the things I've taught you. For example, I'll give you a perfect example. The Pharisees and the scribes, they paid their tithe faithfully. They paid their tithe on their herb garden, okay? They were faithful to the law of the tithing. But when it came to the spirit of the tithe, they didn't comprehend it. They didn't understand it. It had turned into a burden. And so, therefore, when they were called to care for their elderly parents, they said, we gave that money, listen carefully, to the tithe. And now you are Corbin, C-O-R-B-I-N is the word. In other words, we would love to help, but we gave that money in our tithe to the temple. And now, good luck. In other words, we did our part. We gave the tithe. And now my mother and my father, I let them go to the streets. But I feel good because I've served God because I paid my tithes. Well, until you served and honored your father and mother, until you've loved those that can't love, you can take your tithe back, you see? It's all about a spirit of giving of all we have to show the love of God in the best way that we can. And so that's why I'm calling on all of us to never, for example, if you're coming to the feast in 28 days with anything in your heart against me or anyone in this ministry, you are wasting a lot of money, a lot. Are you with me? Your righteousness has to exceed the scribes and the Pharisees. You're supposed to be coming together with this house of Israel to present yourself as one body before Yahweh. If not, your righteousness is a joke. Why? It's that time now. Elul, we're in that time of repentance. Father, if I have something in my heart against my shepherd, if I have something in my heart against an elder or a brother or a sister, and Elder Jan taught it so well, may we all heed that advice. We cannot go to the feast because we're keeping the calendar correctly. You can keep the calendar right all day long if you didn't keep the reason right. Amen. Amen. The Holy Spirit is speaking to all of us tonight. Every one of us. Saints, this is not a feast or not. And that's why I wanted to get to this key tonight to follow up on Elder Jan's teaching. Not that I can add to that, but just a different angle. Let's not say Corban. Maybe I ought to read that verse. Somebody look it up for me. Let's just look at that verse. Because a lot of people don't understand what the Corban references to. I don't have it right in front of me. Pastor, may I just ask one thing? Yes, sir. So I have a friend that lives in South Africa, right? He's a rabbi. And I keep telling him how we keep the Sabbath, right? And he tells me he won't even leave his house because on the Sabbath, because he has an electric fence. And so you have to press a button to get out of there. So you don't go to synagogue to have a holy convocation? He goes, no, I don't need that. I just stay on my own. I make my dinner before that. I say it's so sad that they put Halakha, the law that they have for Sabbath, over the true meaning of Sabbath and what we do. It is, yes. But Pastor, where would I point you? How do you have a holy convocation without leaving your house? By yourself. But where would I point to him in Torah to back up holy convocation? Because I know we have that language in the New Testament. Brother, simply look up convocation. It's in every commandment for Shabbat. Okay. Yes, sir. Yeah, it's all in the Torah. It's all in the Torah. And I'll send you... Matter of fact, I wrote up a blog on that. I'll send that to you. Maybe that would help you. Please. Yes, sir. Absolutely. Did anybody find that reference? Got it. I got it, Apostle. Okay, go right ahead. Mark 7 and 11. Okay, let's read it. 7 and 11. Yes, sir. But if you say, if a man shall say to his father or mother, it is Corbin, that is to say a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me, he shall be free. So in other words, the word Corbin simply means a gift or an offering or a sacrifice dedicated to Yahweh. And it's set apart. And you look holy because you say, I'm giving to the church. And therefore, I'm dodging my responsibility of helping my mother and my father. Because I had to give God my tithe. So I don't have any money to help you, mom or dad. Amen, Apostle. Yahshua said, uh-uh. Uh-uh. Go ahead. In chapter, or verse 10, for Moses. He said, no. Okay, read it. For Moses was saying, honor thy father and thy mother, and whoso curseth father and mother, let him die the death. And then went into that. Amen. So what he's saying is don't use your, don't, don't even tell nobody I can't help you because I had to pay my tithe. Now you can say I can't help you because I'm broke, but you don't have to look religious. When you say it. Well, if I wouldn't have gave all my money to the church, I could help you. In other words, Yahshua is telling you, hey, guys. Get that righteousness level above the scribes and above the Pharisees. Walk in the spirit. And as we proceed into understanding why this is important. Let's turn to Malachi chapter three. Verse two through verse three. Malachi three and two through three. And what I want to talk to you about is how. Pastor, do we get our righteousness above that of the Pharisees? There's only one way to do it. There is only one way to get our righteousness above the scribes and the Pharisees. Only one. And I'm going to show it to you. On your screen before we read the verse, because this is the only way you can get that righteousness level up. Praise Yahweh. Let's see if I can share my screen somewhere. This picture right here. If you're going to get your righteousness level up, which is the gold inside of you. You've got to get the dross to fall down. There's only one way to do that. And it's called the fire or the lake of fire or the fire of judgment in our lives. It removes what is contrary to the spirit of Yahweh. You know, I watch people that move on in life and they say, we're still going to keep the commandments, you know, while they run this ministry down. And I'm like, don't you understand the commandments? You can't. Those two don't go together. There must be something to get the dross out of all of us. And there's only one thing that'll do it. Elder Morgan, read to us about that. Amen. Malachi 3, verses 2 and 3. But who may abide the day of his coming? And who shall stand when he appeareth? For he is like a refiner's fire and like a fuller soap. And he shall set as a refiner and purifier of silver. And he shall purify the sons of Levi and purge them as gold and silver. And they may offer unto Yahweh an offering in righteousness. Oh, dad, did you hear not Yahshua say our righteousness has to do what? Exceed. How do we get that, pastor? Get in the lake of fire. Because the day of his coming in your life. Let me show you what the day of his coming looks like in your life. This right here, when you open it up, that's the day of his coming in your life. When you begin to read and you begin to pray over what you've read, there will be a fire begin to burn in you. Uh, Sister Ruth said there's a fire within a fire and it's burning in me. That's the only way to get our righteousness above that of the scribes and the Pharisees. Now, Torah tells us in Deuteronomy 4, 24, that Yahweh, our God is a consuming fire, a jealous God. He will not allow syncretism. He will not allow mixture. Oh, pastor, don't worry. I'm not going to mix Easter with Passover. Well, there's another kind of mixture. Mixing the dross with the gold. Amen. Mixing that bad attitude while you're there celebrating Passover. I've seen you. Amen. Decorating for tabernacles while not speaking to a brother that got on your nerves because of the way y'all was decorating. Oh, help me, Lord. Our righteousness must exceed. Oh, God, help us. Do y'all know I want to be in the government of Yahshua? Do you know that's my lifelong dream? I really want to make it into that. Oh, I really want to see the whole world brought to Christ. That's my dream. That's my... I'm part of that dream team. I want to see it, but I know to do it. Every day, I have to forgive my enemies. Every day, I have to love those that misunderstand me. I have to love those. Why? I don't want dross. I can't just keep the Sabbath and keep a chip on my shoulder. I don't want to drive all the way to the Holy Convocation, but I won't drive Sister Lori to her doctor's appointment. My, my, my. Amen. I really pray the Holy Spirit in these lessons is doing more than giving you knowledge. Beloved brothers and sisters, you are called to a higher standard than the Jews, Pharisees, or Sadducees. You are called to the priesthood of Melchizedek, and that priesthood must be burned in the fire. According to what Elder Morgan just read, the priesthood has to be purged. Yahweh's not purging the world today. They get purged in the lake of fire, but the priesthood is being purged in the present fire. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Let's talk about the intent of the fire. Remember, intent. Not just the letter, the word fire. No, no, no. What is Yahweh's intent of fire? The Bible tells us, what we just read in Paul's writing in 1 Corinthians, that every man's work will be, here's the purpose of the fire. Are you ready? Revealed by the fire. Amen. Amen, Apostle. That's the purpose of the fire, to reveal your works. That is the intent of the fire. Do you know when you're feeling the fire turn up in your life? That is a moment of revelation. Is it going to be a cuss word slip out of your mouth, or a praise word? Is it going to be a doubtful word, or a faith word? The fire is only revealing what's still in the pot. That's the purpose of the fire. I love the fire. The fire exposes you. Amen. The fire exposes you, church. It exposes you. It exposes your spirit, your intent. For example, in this ministry, when it gets hot, the only thing that can be shaken is what, only thing that will be shaken is what can. Whatever can be shaken needs to be shaken. The fire has a purpose, and it is to reveal your works, and to change your character. The Bible said the fire will try, it doesn't say every man, but every man's work. The quality of who you are is determined. By how hot you can take the fire. The fire burns the hell out of us, because the only thing that stays in the fire forever is death and hell. Come on, Elder. That was good. Oh my, yeah. Because death, if we have death in us. I like that one. I'll use that. That's a fact. It burns the, I ain't gonna say it, but it burns the H-E-L-L out of us. What'd you say, Sherry? I said death and hell, where's your sting? Amen. Why? It's all that's in us that's still got to be burned out, Elder, is the death. If we don't, the zoe life is the gold. That age-abiding life of Yah is the gold, but we can't mix it with death. In other words, you can't tell me you're praying for me. While you're talking about me, I'm talking about any of us, not me, but that death has got to go, and we cast it into the lake of fire. The next purpose, the first purpose of the fire was revelation of who we are. The second purpose was testing to try our works. The third one is manifestation. What did Paul say? Every man's work will be made manifest. You see, that's when the hidden things are brought to light. Amen. The third purpose of the fire, manifestation. Go back and read. I challenge, I'll tell you what I challenge you to do, and I'm not trying to be a smart aleck. You go to your Christian pastor friend, and you show them Paul's writing about that verse that we've studied tonight. Nobody has an answer for that verse. Nobody, nobody. That every man's work will be tried in the fire. Nobody has, why? Because they don't know how to compare spiritual to spiritual, Torah to this. You are going to be manifested. Watch this. Right here in the Qahal, can I show you how this works? In our local headquarters church. Do you know why there is so much unity in the headquarters congregation? Because we all get to watch each other in the fire. And it's the fire that makes manifest who you are in front of the congregation. When that fire gets so hot, and yet you walk in that Qahal on the Shabbat, and we know the fire's burning. We know, we see what you're going through. And yet you're dancing before the Lord. Yet you're giving the tithe. You're obeying the Sabbath. What's happening right there? You're manifesting. Have you ever heard that phrase? They're manifesting. Well, I don't believe that applies to demon possession. I believe that applies to YAH possession. I believe you start manifesting when YAH is possessing your temple. It will start manifesting. That's the third purpose of the fire, is manifestation. The fourth purpose of the fire. Say it again. The cardinal mind is an enmity with God. Absolutely. That's what, and therefore, it has to be cast into the lake of fire. The fourth purpose of the fire, oh, I'm out of time. The fourth purpose is sorting, S-O-R-T-I-N-G. The apostle Paul said, every man's work will be made manifest of what sort it is. Distinguishing between the different types of work. Now, the sad thing is I'm out of time and I need to get into the different types of works. There's several more pages of what those works need to look like in our lives.
