The People of the Presence part 2 By Pastor Shane Vaughn, First Harvest Ministries Tonight I’m going to teach you more about the Presence, the people of the Presence, the presence of the Lord. Let’s turn to the book of Ezekiel chapter one. Ezekiel 1:22-24 There was a shape spread out over the heads of the living creatures, like an expanse of dazzling crystal, and awesome. 23 Under this expanse their wings stretched out, one toward the other. Each one had two, spreading this side and that side, and each had two covering their bodies. 24 And when they carried it, I heard the noise of their wings, like the roar of many waters, like the voice of the Almighty, a commotion like the sound of an army; but when they stood still, their wings abated. Notice who is carrying it; and what is it? It is the Presence of the Lord; the throne of Yahweh (God). But let’s go back to verse number four. 4 As I looked, then behold, a whirlwind came out from concealment—a great cloud taken with fire, surrounded by light. And from within the midst of the fire, the appearance of hashmal; brilliant whiteness with colors of fire; spectrum colors: red, yellow, blue, etc. Now go to verse one. 1 It began in the thirtieth year, in the Fourth Moon, on the fifth day of the moon, as I was among the captives by the River 1 Chebar. The heavens were opened, and I saw visions from Yahweh. Now we are going to go back to where we left off in verse twenty-five. 25 A voice came from the expanse that was over their heads, so they stood still and their wings abated. 26 Above the expanse over their heads was the likeness of a throne, HalleluYah! Ladies and gentlemen, there is something carrying the throne. The throne is mobile. There is no such thing as a throne sitting in heaven in one place. The Throne of Yahweh (God) is transported from place to place. You’re going to learn a lot tonight. The throne never sits still. HalleluYah. As a matter of fact, it is set in here tonight. The throne moves from place to place—wherever it’s welcome. Wherever an atmosphere has been provided for the throne, the Living Creatures will bring the throne to that place. This is what is happening to Ezekiel. He sees the throne, but under the throne—and this is so key that you get it— it is being transported by angels. It is so important that you get this. The Lord taught me a great mystery last Thursday when I was studying for this lesson. He said, “I’m going to teach you the secret to tell My people, how to bring in My Presence among them.” I thought it was going to be some great mystery, and I’ve read it a million times. And He said these words to me: Wherever the angels are welcome, is where the throne will appear because the angels transport the throne; the presence of Yahweh! Amen. We’ll keep reading. Verse twenty-six. 26 Above the expanse over their heads was the likeness of a throne, in appearance like a sapphire stone; and above, on the likeness of the throne, was a figure with the appearance of a man. 2 I’ve always told you that Yahweh looks just like you do. You need to get out of your mind that He’s some great blob in outer space somewhere. Amen. Someone said, “Pastor Vaughn, do you believe in aliens?” I said, “I pray to one everyday.” He’s not of this world. He’s extraterrestrial, but He looks just like a man. The Bible said He’s got hands, arms. The problem we make in Christianity is over-spiritualizing Yahweh, and we make Him a God that’s unapproachable, that He’s just light. No, no, no. Light surrounds Him, but He has the appearance of a man. When Yahshua (Jesus) was on the earth, He told them, “Don’t stop those children from coming to Me, because their angels do behold the face of My Father in heaven.” Yahweh has a face, and you need to come to know your Father, not as a creature, but as a man; an image of a man. He is not a man, but His image is that of a man. He is Spirit, but His body looks just like yours is going to look when it’s changed in the Resurrection. So Ezekiel said, “I saw a man,” and the Bible said in verse twenty-eight: 28 Like the sight of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness surrounding it. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of Yahweh; when I saw it, I fell upon my face. Then I heard the voice of One Who spoke. Tonight is part two of The People of the Presence. Help us to hear Your Word tonight, Lord. Help us to understand Your Word, and to move into a new level of Your Presence at all times. Amen. I’m going to go now to the book of Hebrews chapter one. Hebrews 1:8-14 But to the Son He says: The throne of Your Father is forever and ever; a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your Kingdom. 3 9 You have loved righteousness and hated iniquity; therefore Yahweh Your Father has anointed You with the oil of gladness more than Your companions; fellow heirs. Now who are those companions? It’s you and me. Even though we have the same oil that Yahshua (Jesus) has. He was anointed with more oil than His companions—you and me. He got a little more than a dab of it. He got it without measure. Praise the Lord! 10 And You, Yahweh, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands. 11 Those who are wicked will perish because of their sins, but You will remain. 12 Yes, all of them will wear out like a garment. Like clothing You will change them, and they pass away. But You remain the same, and Your years will have no end. 13 But to which of the malakim has He ever said: Sit at My right hand, until I make Your enemies Your footstool? Here’s what He’s telling you: the angels are gods. People don’t realize that. The Bible said that angels are part of the elohim. The elohim is the God family. It is the family of divine beings. The angels are gods, but they are not Yahweh. They are not the Creator, but they are divine. Anything divine is a god. Brother Vaughn, I don’t believe that. I don’t care what you believe. I’ll tell you what the Bible says. The Bible said Satan is a god. Satan is a god. Why? He’s an angel. Now do you understand when I say that angels are gods? They are above humans. Therefore, they are gods. The reason Yahweh gave that commandment about not making any graven image, is because the children of Israel were even beginning to 4 worship those angels as gods. That commandment only has to do with the fallen angels. Notice what He said: But I never promised one of those angels to sit at My right hand, even though they are gods and you are not. My plans for you will be to rule the angels. One day, people are going to understand the message you hear when you come to this church. It’s deeper than you understand. It’s the revelation that you won’t hear at camp meetings, you won’t hear it anywhere. There is a truth that flows from this pulpit that is so rare, that it worries me sometimes, the way you all respond to the Word. Get that thing out of your mind that wants to rebut when you hear something you don’t understand. Say, “I want to know!” You’ve got to get to a point where you understand Yahweh’s purpose for your life. It’s greater than that of angels! And angels are gods! So is Lucifer. That’s why the Bible tells us when they told Yahshua, “You claim to be God,” He said, “No.” He said, “I have told you that I’m the Son of God and you assumed that I was saying that I am God, because anything that is a son of God has to be a god.” Anything that is a son of God, is a god. That’s why the Bible said that the angels were with God; Yahweh. That’s why I tell you not to use the generic term God. It messes the Bible up. Do you see how I just said, “They’re gods, but they’re not God.”? If you’ll change the word God to Yahweh, they are gods, but they are not Yahweh. Now you see the difference in the Elohim family. This is deep stuff that you need to know. That’s why we like to use the Names, because the nouns are generic; they’re just too generic. That’s why when I said a while ago that angels are god, people said, “What? I thought there was only one God.” There is only one Yahweh; only One Creator God. The word god means divine. That’s all it means—divine. Divine just means not human. It does. You shall have no other gods... because there are other gods. I love it when 5 people say, “There are no other gods,” because then you don’t believe the First Commandment. There are plenty of gods. The angels are gods. If you’re not careful and you don’t learn that they are gods, you won’t understand just how important you are. Paul said that you are going to JUDGE the gods; the angels. That’s why when people make an excuse why they aren’t living right by saying, “I’m not God.” Darling, you almost have to get better than that because you are going to judge the gods. Amen. HalleluYah. Praise Yahweh. When you learn these things, your Bible will open up for you. The reason I am going slow tonight and starting off in first gear is because you’ve got to change your thinking about the angels and who they are, and what they do. Listen to what He says in verse fourteen. 14 Are the malakim not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for those who will be heirs of salvation? He says the angels are sent forth to minister to the gods. Brother Vaughn, my Bible doesn’t say that. Yes it does. You’ve got to know how to read it. It says they are ministering spirits. What is another word for ministering spirits? Servants. Alright? They are servants sent forth to minister to those who will be what? Heirs of Salvation. Those heirs of salvation are going to judge the gods. So the angels that are now gods are sent to minister to the FUTURE gods that will rule over them. HalleluYah! Thank you Lord for Truth! That’s why you’ve got to get it together. You’ve got to learn faithfulness. Why? If you thought you were going to heaven to just do whatever, no, no, no. You are going to judge and rule over the ones that call themselves gods now. You’re going to be a super god! That sounds Mormon doesn’t it? That’s because Mormons have some truth. I’m not afraid to say it. They’ve got more truth than most Christian Churches I 6 know. I’ll tell anybody. Do you know what ninety percent of the Christian churches would have done to me if I would have said that? They would have kicked me out because they don’t know what a god is. They think Yahweh is just God. When you say you are a god, they say it’s blasphemy. That’s why they killed Yahshua. They misunderstood what gods were. What did Yahshua tell all the men of Israel? Do you not know that you are gods? Is that in the Bible or am I making it up? He told the men of Israel, “You are all gods.” Why? You were chosen to be the divine in the Resurrection. Get out of your pauper mentality and realize you were created an animal so you would transform into divine beings that will rule the angels! It’s hard to preach like this because I have to plow up your thinking; the way you’ve always thought. They said about Yahshua, “We’re going to crucify Him because He claims to be God.” He said, “I never claimed that. You assumed it.” Why? Because if I say I’m the Son of God, I’ve made Myself equal with Yahweh (God). My son, when he says he is the son of Vaughn, he has just equated himself with the Vaughn name; the Vaughn family. I may be Shane Vaughn, but he’s Andrew Vaughn. He is Vaughn, Vaughn, Vaughn. Whatever Vaughn is, he is. Amen. He’ll never be Shane Vaughn. He’ll never be Yahweh Elohim, but He is Elohim, because Elohim is the Family Name of God. That’s why when you read your Bible in Hebrew, sometimes you will see Elohim, sometimes you’ll see Yahweh. It’s because He is Elohim, but His Proper Name is Yahweh Elohim. HalleluYah! Praise the Lord. I’ll never forget when the Lord revealed all this to me. I couldn’t stand still for years because of this TRUTH. I finally understood my Bible, and I understood Yahweh’s plan for my life. Amen. 7 Air is the atmosphere of the earth. You’ve got to have it to live. In the heavenly realm, they don’t need air. They need GLORY. Angels breathe glory. That’s why every time you see an angel, they are always surrounded with the glory of Yahweh. They breathe glory. I’m getting ready to teach you something. If the angels cannot breathe around you, they won’t come to you. The reason more miracles happen in a church service is because there’s more Glory. That’s why you people sitting at home, I love you, but oh God, there’s nothing like being in the Glory! Why? Because the ATMOSPHERE is conducive to ANGELS. Angels exist, just like you’ve got to have air to exist. They don’t need air or they couldn’t go to the foreign galaxy. They don’t need air. They need the GLORY of Yahweh. When you receive the Holy Spirit, that is the Glory. When the Glory comes in you like a river, and you open your earth to release the river of the Glory of Yah, you just created a place where angels can bring the Throne because they can breathe in the Glory! HalleluYah! I’m trying to get somewhere. I’m trying to show you that to be People of the Presence you must CREATE the PRESENCE! The Presence doesn’t come to you. What did Yahweh tell Moses? Come to the top of the mountain! You’ve got to come into an atmosphere! Amen. There are some folks' houses I don’t want to go into. I don’t like roaches. I don’t like dirty dishes in sinks.I just don’t like being in places where I feel filthy. When you walk in my home it’s always impeccable. I like that atmosphere. Amen? If you’ve got a good wife, your house will be impeccable. If you don’t have a wife who will keep a clean house for you, you need another one. Amen. A man should have a clean home. Why? She’s creating an atmosphere where you can sit on the recliner without looking for breadcrumbs. You know that you are in that environment where you are comfortable and don’t have to worry. 8 The angels only come to earth when they are on an assignment from the throne of Yahweh and they only come to those who have created the presence of the Lord for them to operate and breathe in. The presence of the Lord is not what you think it is. The presence of the Lord is not this mystical thing that comes down. The presence of the Lord is real simple. I’m getting ready to reveal the mystery. It is simply the presence of angels. I’ve got a lot of proving to do. There is always a coming up and a coming down associated with the Glory. Remember, I taught you a few weeks ago, as the vapor goes up and the rain comes down. It’s always a two-way deal with the Glory of Yahweh. The Glory of Yahweh never starts in heaven. Revival doesn’t start in heaven. Nothing starts in heaven. That’s why He said, “I sought for a man. I needed to start on the earth.” The cloud only forms if it starts on the earth. You have to learn to cooperate with heaven. I will never be able to thank Sister Ruth Heflin enough for teaching me. She used to teach us, as you sow to the heavens, the heaven sows to the earth. There is a cooperation between the things of earth and the angels. When you are asking the presence of the Lord to come in, you are asking the angels to come because they carry the throne. The throne only comes where the angels can carry it. That’s why you will never see the throne in a honkytonk. The air is not right there. You will never see the throne in an environment where the air is not breathable for the angels of Yahweh. They exist in the Glory everywhere they go. That’s why the Bible said that there is a bright light around the angels. That light is the Glory of Yahweh, and they’ve got to see that same light on you for them to come and minister to you. 9 Yahweh wants you to know His presence. But to know His presence, you’ve got to know how to ATTRACT His presence. Glory to Yahweh! HalleluYah! If you’ll remember, in Jacob’s vision there was a ladder and the angels were ascending and descending. If you don’t create the ladder, they can’t come down. They need a ladder. They need an entrance into your situation, and only you can create the ladder. Only you can open the portal so that they see the same light on you that lives in them, and as they come, they come rushing to your rescue! HalleluYah! THE GLORY OF YAHWEH IS THE PRESENCE OF ANGELS! We don’t talk enough about angels. Let’s read about the word glory in Exodus 24:17. Let’s start at verse fifteen. Exodus 24:15-18 Then Mosheh went up into the mountain, and a cloud covered the mountain. Whenever we begin to worship here, you have heard me say, “Let’s go up Mt Zion.” That’s what I’m talking about. You’ve always got to go up. Always. The Glory never comes down to you. You live in an evil world. The Glory never comes down to you. It didn’t come down to Moses. It came to the top of the mountain. It wouldn’t touch the earth. Why? Glory doesn’t mix with evil. If you want to get into the Glory, the first thing you’ve got to do is come up. That’s why we dance and we worship. The next time we begin to do it, I want you to know that it is an invitation to come up; to come up out of Waveland, to come up out of your life, your own situation. Come up Moses, and I’ll show you the glory. That is why praise and worship is so important in a service. It is the coming up of the people of Yahweh. You’ve got to come up. He doesn’t come down. You come up! 10 That is why we never rush the worship here. We don’t rush the praise. Some folks it takes longer for them to get up. HalleluYah. Me, I’m practiced in the Glory. I can get in the Glory just like that because I know how to do it. I was taught by the best. I lived under a woman who LIVED in the Glory, so I can get there quickly. But some people, it takes you a while to dance it out. But eventually you’ll begin to feel yourself rising and coming to that Glory Cloud. When you get to that Glory Cloud, I’ll tell you what’s going to happen. 16 And the glory of Yahweh rested upon Mount Sinai and the cloud covered it six days. And on the Seventh Day Yahweh called to Mosheh out of the midst of the cloud. Did you see something there? Moses didn’t go into the Glory when he got to the top of the mountain. He stayed at the top of the mountain for six days. He was waiting for the Sabbath Day because he knows when to go to church. He was up there knocking, All right, I’m ready. For six days Yahweh said, “That’s not the holy day. I’ll call you on the Seventh Day.” That’s when He’s going to call all of you into the cloud: on the Seventh Day, on the seven-thousandth year. Don’t you see it? Your job is to get to the top of the mountain and wait for the invitation to come up a little higher now, when the dead in Messiah shall rise. You will go into that cloud so you’ve got to stay ready for that cloud. Amen. 17 To the eyes of the children of Israyl, the sight of the glory of Yahweh looked like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain. 18 And Mosheh entered the midst of the cloud as he went on up the mountain; and he stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights. He stayed in the Glory, but before he got in the Glory he tarried. He waited. He didn’t get in a hurry. Don’t ever get in a hurry. When some of you fall 11 out in the Spirit, you rush it. The first time I met Sister Ruth I fell out, and I tried to get right back up because my hair was messing up. I wanted to get right back up. She got so mad. She said, “Why would you want to leave the Glory? Stay right down there where you are.” GET IN THE CLOUD! At her camp meetings, they would stay on the floor until the next morning! Nobody would come out of the cloud. You’ve got to learn to experience the presence of Yahweh. When I was a boy, I will never forget that we would drive people home because they were so in the cloud. They were just out of it, in the cloud. The only way you get in the cloud is if you find a preacher who will make you so hungry for it, that you want to get into the cloud! The Church is not preaching about that cloud. They are not preaching about that Glory. You have got to learn to want that Glory! I watch some of you in the worship service and I wonder why you think we’re doing this! Do you think we’re doing this because we’re trying to exercise? We are trying to come up higher, out of our minds and out of our own world. It is a time of intensity. I will come down here and dance with you sometimes just to demonstrate the intensity on my face, so you see how intense I am for the glory of Yahweh. You’ve got to get intense with it! In the Glory is the answer to every need you have! Your money is in the Glory Cloud. Your job is in the Glory Cloud. Your healing is in the Glory. It’s all in the Glory! Yahweh can do more for you in one service where the Glory Cloud comes, than you can do for yourself with weeks of work. That is why Satan has stopped people from coming to church, because that is the only place you will get the cloud. You won’t get it like this at home. Why? Two or three people gathered. It takes the Temple to create the cloud. That’s why when I hear people say, “I’m going to just sit at home,” let me tell you why that is. Because when you get in that Glory Cloud, it is a consuming FIRE and it’s going to burn 12 you up. It’s going to reveal who you are. That’s why people don’t want to get in the Glory Cloud. The word glory is the Hebrew word kabod. Whenever you hear me refer to the kabod glory, I am talking about that terrifying glory. The word kabod means weight, heavy, and when the glory comes upon you it will be heavy. You will feel the weight of your legs. You will feel the weight of your body. You will feel it. Let’s go to Exodus forty, verse thirty-four and let’s talk even more about the cloud. The cloud went everywhere Israel went. Don’t tell me you’re an Israelite if you’re not in the cloud. Israelites were cloudy people. A cloud by day means that every day there was a cloud. You can get to that place where every day you are walking in the cloud. You can get to that place in Yahweh where everyday you are walking in the cloud. You can get to that place in Yahweh. You can have sunshine on a cloudy day. Every day will be cloudy. Amen? It may be cloudy, but it is so bright in the Cloud! Let’s read more about it. Exodus 40:34 Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of Yahweh filled the Tabernacle. Then the cloud covered the CHURCH! The Glory of Yahweh filled the Church. It never fills a person, it only fills a church! That’s why Satan tells you when it gets to be church-time, “Why don’t you inbox Pastor and tell him you’re not coming.” You’ll never understand that missing ONE church service, what you can miss in the Glory Cloud! People say, “Well, I’ve got to be at work in the morning.” I say, “Don’t you think you need a cloud to take with you when you get there?” Carnal minds! I need rest. There is rest in the cloud! 13 I need good sleep. There’s good sleep in the cloud! Quit making excuses! Get in the cloud! Quit looking for a reason not to come to church. Don’t you know the Bible said to come even more as you see the day approaching? You need to come even more than just the Sabbath! Do you honestly think that you don’t need more cloud? Everytime you walk in this building, you are looking for the cloud because it only settles on the House of Israel. It doesn’t settle on an Israelite. It settles on the HOUSE OF ISRAEL—the GATHERING OF ISRAEL! If Elder Baker was here she’d be screaming right now because the House of Israel is where the cloud settles. Why did Satan shut them down during Covid? So the cloud would quit coming to earth. The cloud comes where the people gather in His Name. 35 And Mosheh was not able to enter the Tent of Meeting because the cloud rested above it, and the glory of Yahweh filled the Tabernacle. The weight of the cloud when it comes, I don’t care what anybody tells you. When that cloud touches you, you will hit the floor! Amen. Why? There is weight to it. The word kabod means the weight of Yahweh. Just as Yahweh’s Glory filled the Temple when it was dedicated, so it fills the Temple today. The purpose of going into the Glory is so that the Glory may come forth from you. Brother Vaughn, how do we get the Glory? You just have to get the angels. The Hebrew word for angel is malak. Here is all it means: messenger. They are the messengers of Yahweh. We are going to become a church that begins to attract more angels. I’m going to teach you how to do it. If you want more Glory, you need more angels. These are your ministering servants that you are not even using. Luke chapter two. Let’s read about these angels. 14 Luke 2:8 Now there were shepherds in the same country living out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And behold, the malak of Yahweh came to them, and the glory of Yahweh illuminated all around them, and they were greatly afraid. When Yahweh came to them, what did they have with them? The Glory of Yahweh. The brightness of the light was all around them. The first thing that the angels said to them is the first thing they will say to you when you invite them into your mess: Do not be afraid. Anytime the angels come, fear leaves. Do not be afraid. When the Glory comes, do not be afraid because it brings you peace. 10 Then the malak said to them; Do not be afraid! For behold, I bring you glad tidings of great joy, which will be to all people. 11 For a Savior is born to you this day in the city of David, Who is the Messiah, the King! 12 And this is the sign to you: You will find the Babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And now I want you to notice something. When those shepherds responded to those angels and they listened to those angels, suddenly a multitude of them showed up! It only started with one or two angels, but at their response to those two angels, suddenly they all appeared all over the sky because of their response to those two angels. A light came on them that caused all the hosts of heaven to appear! They were already there, but they are only visible when you get in the Glory of Yahweh. They only manifest in the Glory of Yahweh, and your response to the Word of Yahweh. 15 These angels were preaching! Thank you Lord for the revelation you just gave me! The angels were preaching the Word! They were preaching Genesis 3;15: a woman will have a Seed. They were preaching to these shepherds and there was a response to the teaching that ignited the Glory, and the angels appeared all around them! When you hear the Word and you respond to that Word, there are lights going up in the heavens, and angels are attracted to lovers of the Word of Yahweh. If you want the angels, LOVE THE WORD! LOVE THE CLOUD! HalleluYah! There was one angel talking to him; one or two preaching. I’m going to tell you all something, and everyone is really going to think I am a cult leader now. According to the Word, I’m an angel. One angel is preaching to you now. Your response to that one angel will open up the heavens and they’ll all appear. They’ll all show up. They’ll all come when you respond to the preaching of the angel of the Lord, the Word of the Lord! HalleluYah! HalleluYah! A light just went off in here and it attracts the Angels of Light! THEN THE GLORY COMES!! Brothers and sisters, the Word and your response to it, attracts the angels, and I’m going to prove it to you from the Word. Let’s keep reading. HalleluYah. You’ve all got to become more angelic-minded. Yes! Verse fourteen. 14 Glory to Yahweh in the highest and on earth, peace among men with whom He is pleased! And on earth. See what just happened? It started on the earth. It started in the shepherd’s field. There was no great host of angels until the shepherd’s field CREATED THE ATMOSPHERE that brought in the angels. You are part of that shepherd’s field! You are the shepherds and the sheep! THE WORD MUST IGNITE YOU! HalleluYah! What you are feeling right now is 16 Glory! What you’re feeling is GLORY OF THE WORD! Yah, Yah, Yah, YAH YAH! GLORY! I told the Lord: I want the secret! Give me more than You gave Sister Ruth. Teach me how to get the Glory other than in praise and worship. He said to me: You don’t need the Glory, you need the angels because the angels carry the Glory. They carry the throne! You’ve got to learn how to attract angels! You’ve got to learn how to bring them in! HalleluYah! Ezekiel didn’t see the throne until he first saw the angels. He said, “I saw the angels, and then above their heads, I looked and they were escorting the Throne of Yahweh.” HalleluYah. I want to teach you something. Did you know the angels had six wings? That’s the seraphim. Do you know what those six wings were for? Only two of them are for flying. Four of them were for covering themselves up in the presence of the Throne. Now you might know why the Apostle Paul, when he spoke of women’s hair as their covering, said, “It’s because of the angels.” Even the angels know to cover up in the presence of the Lord. You’ve got to learn how to COVER UP in the presence of the Lord! They cover themselves, and that’s why we cover ourselves—because of the angels! They do it! You’ve got to learn to cover yourselves in the presence of the Lord because the angels, even they cover themselves in His Presence. They cover themselves in the presence of their Headship! The Bible said the husband is the head of the wife. That is why she shouldn’t shave her hair off. She is under her husband’s covering, therefore it is a shame to her to do that because she would be doing like the rebellious angels—not respecting her Head! I know what the Bible said. There is a COVERING. Did you know that when Moses died and when Michael came down to speak to Lucifer, he would not even rebuke Lucifer? What did he say? The Lord 17 rebukes you. Do you know why? Because at one time, Lucifer was his covering. Do you understand spiritual authority? You say you do, yet you will go and rebuke a pastor. You will go and rebuke your pastor. You devil! You rebellious demon! You’re just like your father, the devil. Learn to walk softly in the presence of the Lord! Learn that when the service is going on, not to let your kids run all over the place. Teach them to cover in the presence of the Lord. I watch some of my teenagers. I wish they were here tonight, and I’d tell them that back there in the back, I see them when the Presence comes in, taking it too lightly. Let me tell you something. When you take the presence of the Lord lightly, you are destroying your soul. Your conscience is being seared with a hot iron until you learn to cover up in the presence of the Lord! He is HOLY! He is to be FEARED and RESPECTED! He’s a JEALOUS GOD! That’s why I teach our ladies to wear your hair longer than a man’s. It’s your covering! Why? Because of the angels. Even they know to cover up. Brother Vaughn, what does God care about hair? I’ll explain it to you. Your hair grows out of your head. It is a symbol of your Headship! When a woman says she is going to be like a man, the first thing she goes and does is cut off her hair. She wants to be like a man. And when a man wants to be a transgendered woman, what is the first thing he goes and does? He gets some extensions. It’s all about the Head! It’s all about Authority! It’s all about Submission! It’s all about the Angels! Those angels sit in a congregation and if they see a bunch of women who could care less about covering up in the presence of Yahweh, they could care less about bringing the presence of Yahweh. I didn’t write this, but I’ve got to preach it. I’ve got to teach our ladies to cover up. Why? The angels are watching, and even they know to cover up. It is a sign! When my grandmother or my pastor would speak to me, there was something in me that I wouldn’t even look them in the eyes. I just showed 18 so much respect for the things of Yahweh. I covered up. I covered up because I was not worthy, and I know I don’t want to be like the devil. The archangel Michael would not even rebuke the devil! That’s why I’m worried about some of these devil-casting-out people. Michael wouldn’t even rebuke the devil. Ladies and gentlemen, listen to me. The Glory comes in when the atmosphere is right. When a church is holy, a holy God can come in. When a church is set apart, a set-apart God can come to a set-apart people. We have to create that atmosphere! Not just in dress, but literally the way you walk in the church, literally the way you talk, literally the way you cut up and act up. Literally the way you approach the church will attract the angels. If you consider holy what they consider holy, they will bring what is holy to you! HalleluYah! They carry it! It’s on their backs! It’s on their wings. They’ve got what you want. I’m firmly convinced that the reason the old church had more Glory is because they walked softly. They walked softly. There was a holy fear. They walked softly. When they would vacuum the carpets, you would think they were vacuuming holy carpet. C’mon now! When they cooked, you would think they were cooking holy food, for holy people! In those days the Glory was so prevalent. It would come out of people. It was so prevalent because there was a different respect for holy things! Nana would let the kids run around after church, but if we dared touch that platform, uh uh! Brother Vaughn, it’s just a platform. That’s your problem. It’s just wood. 19 It was just wood that built the Ark of the Covenant too, darling! The Ark of the Covenant was nothing but shedua wood. But the minute it was dedicated to Yahweh, it wasn’t yours anymore. The minute it was given to Yahweh, it became Holy, Set-apart, Consecrated, Separated! Treat holy things with holiness! HalleluYah! When you know Yahweh has touched something, keep your hands off of it. When you know He has touched a man or a woman, keep your hands off of them! If you know He’s touched a place like this, keep your hands off! Why? It’s bigger than you are. You’re not ready for that. You don’t want to touch that. IT’S HOLY! It’s got angel eyes on it. HalleluYah. Let’s go to the book of Isaiah chapter six. HalleluYah. How you live your life will attract angels or detract them. Isaiah 6:1 In the year that King Uzziyah (Azaryah) died, I saw Yahweh sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the flowing skirts of His robe filled the sanctuary. 2 Above Him stood the seraphim; each one had six wings—with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. His whole body was covered. Did you see that? His face down to his feet. Head to toe covered. They felt if they were in the presence of Yahweh, they should become as nothing. They covered up their own talent. They are powerful. They covered up their own power in the presence of Yahweh. They covered up. You don’t know who I am. I don’t need to know. COVER UP! You and the presence of Yahweh don’t go together. You’ve got to hide behind a covering and then the presence of Yahweh will show up where you are when you are hidden! Hide us O Lord! 20 HIDE US O LORD! THAT YOU MIGHT BE ALL IN ALL! Until He is All In All, He won’t be All In Nothing. I feel this in my soul! What did these seraphim do? They cried to one another. 3 And one cried to another, and said: Holy, holy, holy is Yahweh of hosts! The whole earth is full of His glory! Brothers and sisters, what were they doing? CREATING the Atmosphere of Glory! They would literally face one another and they made sure the atmosphere of the throne never got affected by gossip or negativity. They said: Holy! And just in case there was a little gossip that would come through, the next one would cry Holy back, so the two Holies would meet in the middle. It was always an atmosphere for the Presence of the Lord. Always! Why? Because His Presence is to be PROTECTED! Where you wanted to show up, you’ve got to Go up and Shut up, and Give up, and let Him be All In All! Glory! Protect The Presence! I know people don’t understand why sometimes I get aggravated when we are worshiping and someone changes the key, or changes the tune, or the sound. I don’t like it. I am trying to protect the Presence. I’m trying to protect that moment where we are stepping in and the enemy will try to send in an arrow to try to make you look at the sound men or something else. GET BACK! COVER UP! STAY IN THE PRESENCE! That’s why I spent the money I did for a soundman. That is how important the Presence is. No distractions. Protect the Presence. When you come in, that Presence is going to come if you protect it, crying Holy! He never comes when you cry anything that is not holy. If your conversions are not holy, I promise you that you can show up and pray, and do all you want to do, but He only comes to covered-up people, covering up everything you do; covering up everything that represents you. 21 That’s your figure, ladies. That’s your degrees, sir. That’s your job. Cover it all up. It means nothing in the Presence of the Lord. The more you learn to love His Presence, the more His Presence will come. I promise you that. Turn with me to Ezekiel 3:12. I’ve wanted to get this message out. You’ve got to have the angels to get the Glory. The angels don’t come without a ladder to climb on. Ezekiel 3:12 Then the Spirit lifted me up, and I heard behind me a great thundering noise, saying; Blessed be the glory of Yahweh with His ordained. Notice verse thirteen what he heard. Anytime you read about the glory, what is the next thing he heard? I can hear the flutter, flutter, flutter of their wings. The living creatures in the wheel as they sing. Holy, holy, holy is our God who was and is, and is to come. I can feel the flutter of their wings. 13 I also heard the noise of the wings of the living creatures that touched one another, and the noise of the wheels alongside them, and a noise of great rushing. What did Ezekiel say he heard when he saw the Glory? He said, “I heard the flutter of the wings of the living creatures, and they were touching one another, and the noise of the wheels alongside them.” There is a wheel in a wheel. Do you see where these songs come from now? Sister Ruth wrote all of those songs because she lived in the Glory. These are glory songs. Why do you think the songs at First Harvest sound different than anything you hear? There is a wheel that turns in our music. There is a GLORY realm that is focused on the Glory! Yahweh will move anything out that the wheel is not turning in. HalleluYah! 22 14 So the Spirit lifted me up and took me; and I went bitter, my spirit burning, overpowered by the hand of Yahweh. Who brought him to the hand of Yahweh? The fluttering of the wings. Overpowered by the hand of Yahweh. I’ll tell you what that sounds like to me: Overpowered by the Hand. I’m not Yahweh, but I am His representative. Overpowered by the Hand—I’ve had that gift all my life when my hand touches somebody. That is not me. Shane Vaughn can’t do anything. Do you understand that? Isaiah said, “Woe is me. I am undone,” but he still put a fire to his lip. Brother Vaughn, if God ever touched me... You poor darling. You poor, pitiful darling. When this old man touches you, God just touched you. Don’t you understand that? Brother Vaughn, what do you mean? He’s the representative of Almighty Yahweh (God)! Yahweh is never going to come down and touch your head, unless I do it. It’s like some poor little person put on her Facebook: We don’t need Donald Trump, and we don’t need this and that. We just need God. God isn’t coming! He sends a man! Nobody can turn this nation around except God. Who is He going to use to do it, darling! You’re looking at him! Without us, there is no hope for this nation! None! I get so tired of these super spiritual people who want to put man out. We’ve got to get man out of the way and let God be God. 23 He can only be God through a man! Somebody called me the other day and said, “Brother Vaughn, I love you, but I’m not going to worship you.” I never told you to worship me. You don’t have to worship me, but you better know who it is. You better understand that God operates through men and women. Honor! Why? Because of the angels. They’re watching to see who is covered up. Do you know why sometimes in the service I just lay prostrate on the floor? I’m trying to cover up because of the angels. Even they don’t stand in the presence of Yahweh like you do: looking all around. They’re covered up in a corner: Ohhhhh Yahweh! Why? Because you’ve got rebellion in your heart. They understand authority. They understand that they are nothing. Even though they are more powerful than anything in the world, they become nothing. When we enter the presence of the Lord, we must become nothing. Why? Because Yahweh is wanting to use every one of you to bring His Glory into the earth. Do you know there are some people—I could name names; you wouldn’t know them—but I’ll mention one. You may not know her, and she is ninety-eight years old. Sister Vesta Mangun. Some of you know her. That lady, do you know where she was this week at ninety-eight years old? Preaching Oneness at the UPC. They were having a women’s committee. She was the main preacher there. This woman has lived in a prayer room all her life, covering up. I want to tell all of you something. You can make fun of those old women that wanted to cover it all up from head to toe, but they had something you’ll never have. I want you to understand that. There was a covering in the Presence of Yahweh. There was a covering in the Presence! They revered His presence. I don’t know why I’m preaching this, but I feel like we’ve got to learn to cover up. I’m not just talking about clothes. I’m talking about: Hide me O Yahweh! Don’t get up on this platform and show 24 your talent off. You have no talent in the presence of Yahweh. It’s got to all be about Him. All about Him! That’s why Yahweh cleans platforms off sometimes and gets rid of talent. Did you all feel that? There were some angels that showed up right there, and I felt them when they came into the room. There is something when you begin to cover up in His presence. They will show up. Holy reverence. Holy fear. But the Church now teaches you, “Don’t fear God. Jesus is your boyfriend, your buddy.” He is your Sovereign King! He’s to be feared and respected. He’s to be honored above all. If you will do that, His Glory will always come in. Quickly, I will go to a close. Let’s go to Genesis 18:2. I want to show you something. HalleluYah! Genesis 18:2 So Abraham looked up and saw three men standing nearby; and when he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them and bowed low to the ground. Excuse me, Abraham. Why are you bowing down to men? Because he knew who those men were. Brother Vaughn, we only bow down to God. Abraham knew when he bowed down to the things Yahweh sent, he was bowing down to Yahweh. He didn’t know these were angels. They were men. They hadn’t even introduced themselves yet, but he knew they were the men of Yahweh. The Bible said when he saw them, he covered up. We’re talking about Father Abraham becoming a nobody! He covered up! 25 I don’t bow down to no man! We all know. The angels know too. Remember that verse: Because of the angels. They know what rebellion looks like. It started off with Lucifer. They know what it smells like. They know what it sounds like. They know rebellion a mile away. 3 He said; If I have found honor in your eyes, my rulers, do not pass your servant by. Oh oh. I thought men weren’t your rulers. Three men! My rulers, my pastors, my shepherds, my leaders! But you want to be like Abraham. Cover up. Abraham covered up right then. 4 Please let a little water be brought, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree. He treated them kindly. 5 And I will bring a morsel of bread that you may be refreshed, and then may go on your way, now that you have come to your servant. And they said; Do as you have said. In other words, angels eat food. They have feet that get dirty. And they always look like men. Be careful how you treat men. 6 So Abraham hastened into the tent to Sarah , and said; Quickly knead three seahs of fine flour, and bake cakes. 7 And Abraham ran to the herd, took a tender and fat calf, and gave it to a young man, who hastened to prepare it. He said, “Here, here. Cook it quick!” 26 8 He then brought some butter and milk and the calf that had been prepared, and set these before them. While they ate, he stood near them under a tree. He let them eat in peace. 9 Then they said to him; Where is Sarah your wife? And he said; Here, in the tent. 10 And He said: I will certainly return to you according to the time of life, and behold, Sarah your wife shall have a son. And Sarah was listening in the tent door which was behind him. At this point, Abraham still doesn’t know they are angels. They are prophesying to him. 11 Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in age; and the manner of women had ceased to be with Sarah. 12 Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying; After I have grown old, shall I have pleasure, my husband being old also? 13 And Yahweh said to Abraham: Why did Sarah laugh, saying; Shall I surely bear a son since I am old? And Yahweh said to Abraham, “Who said it?!” I thought it was men. Proxy! Regency! Agency! Learn those words. Those three men were not Yahweh, yet He spoke through them, and Abraham worshiped them because he knew he was worshiping Yahweh. You all weren’t ready for that! 14 Is anything too hard for Yahweh? At the springtime next year I will return to you, and Sarah will have a son. 16 Then the men rose from there, and looked toward Sodom; and Abraham went with them to send them on their way. 27 Then you will start reading about the story of Sodom and Gomorrah. To become more aware of the Glory, we must become more aware of the angels without intruding into the worship of angels. Let me explain something. Abraham was not honoring those three bodies. He was honoring Yahweh, but what began to happen was the children of Israel turned years later, and instead of recognizing Yahweh in the angels, they began to recognize the angels as Yahweh. That is why that Fourth Commandment was written. Then the pagans began to turn these angels into Yahweh. There is a hierarchy in heaven. As we honor the angels, we honor Yahweh. Zechariah the prophet, in nearly every chapter he says, “The angel spoke with me.” Every time in your Bible where you find Yahweh speaking to a man, it’s through an angel. That’s why they are messengers. Let me give you an example. How many of you have heard a prophetic word from a man? It goes sort of like this: Sister, I say unto you, I... He said, “I,” but it’s not I although you’re hearing it. Why is he talking in the first person? Why is the prophet not saying, “The Lord said...”? He will say: Yea I say unto you. Who is talking? It’s not the man. See? That man just became an angel; a messenger. Learn that tonight you are hearing a message from Yahweh, and Shane Vaughn has left the building. Do you understand that? It is not me! There is a message inside of me! Glory! The messenger is here! Friday night when Brother Kendrick stood here pleading for someone, that was an angel! I saw his countenance change. It wasn’t even him anymore. I knew to step back. I covered myself. Do you all understand? I was supposed to preach. What did I do? I covered myself. I told my wife when I got home, “I saw the moment he changed. I knew it was no longer Frank Kendrick.” There is a moment when the anointing takes over, and that is no longer that man. Cover yourself up! HalleluYah! 28 There is a hierarchy in heaven. The seraphims are the archangels. Every angel falls into a category. Cherubim, Seraphim, Principalities, and then Ministering Angels. Those are your four hierarchies. It’s the same thing with the Church. There is a pastor, there are elders. Here is the problem. The Church is designed after heaven. Yahweh told Moses to build the tabernacle according to the one you saw in heaven. The Church is the microcosm of the government of heaven. Most of you who have come to this ministry are not used to a government in the Church. You want to go to a church where they leave you alone. That’s not a church. There is no government there. Or you want to go to a church where there is no spiritual discipline. That’s not a church. In heaven there is hierarchy. This angel answers to that angel, and that one answers to that one because it all comes from the top to the bottom. The Church was created to teach you angelic order to see if you can come into angelic submission like the angels do. That’s why Paul said, “Cover your head, woman,” because the angels are watching for rebellion. Some people don’t understand when you allow sin in the Church, the Glory can’t come. We are protecting this house. Why? The Glory means more to us than the numbers, or the talent, or anything. The Glory is why I’m here. If I don’t have the Presence of the Lord, I have nothing. Moses said, “I don’t want to go if I don’t have Your Presence with me.” We’ve got to have His Presence! HalleluYah! The seraphim serve the throne, The cherubim take orders from the seraphim. Then the cherubim sends those orders to the principalities, which are the governing angels of planet Earth. Every city has a governing angel. Waveland has a governing angel. There is a fallen angel and a heavenly angel over every principality. There is so much order in the angelics. Same thing with the principalities of darkness. The demons know how to follow the orders of hierarchy. Do you know the only ones that can’t do it? The Church of the Living God! 29 We say things like, “He’s a man just like I am.” That’s your problem. We all have to become like the angels; find our place and serve in it. Sisters, if you are on a cleaning team, show up and clean with joy and gladness. If it is your turn to serve the sick, you may be serving an angel and don’t even know it. Serve! Listen. Last night I couldn’t even enjoy my date with my wife because I was so tired from serving the people for the weekend. When I get home tonight, I will make more teaching videos to keep content for the saints who are so hungry for more. My days never stop because I am a servant to the people of Yahweh. My duty is to serve you, and your duty is to serve one another. Get it out of your heart that you’re somebody. COVER UP! You’re not all that. I’m not all that. In here we all cover up that He might shine, that His glory might fill the atmosphere. We’ve got to learn to cover up. Isaiah 63:9. I had to repent to my wife this morning because I was so tired on our date last night. I live to serve Yahweh’s people. Listen to what He says. Isaiah 63:9 In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the malak from His presence saved them; in His love and in His pity He redeemed them; and He bore them, and carried them all the days of old. What am I preaching on? People of the Presence. What carries the Presence is the Angel of the Presence. It was not Yahweh Who saved them. It was the Angel of the Presence. If you need miracles in your life, you need angels. Yahweh rides on the wings of angels. When you understand He rides on the wings of angels, you’ll become more conscious of your surroundings. That fourth man in the fire was an angel. If you are on fire today, and your life is upside down, you need an angel. 30 I just need the Lord! You need the angel of the Lord, is what you need. Anytime Yahweh delivered His people, it was always with the messenger—the Angel of His Presence. So my message tonight is what are you doing to attract or detract the angels? What about in your home? What are you doing in your home? Who are you talking about? Who are you running down in your home that the angels just cannot protect your home? There is a misquoted verse in the Bible that Christians love: The angels of the Lord encamps around those. We act like it encamps around those who are Christians. Oh no. That’s not what it says. Oh the angels are around me. I believe in Christ. That is not what it says. The angels of the Lord encamp around those who fear Him, those who cover up! They don’t camp around Christians. They camp around those who are walking softly, covered up, in fear of the Lord. When you fear the Lord, you fear gossip coming out of your mouth in front of the angels. You want angels? Walk softly. Talk softly. Your rebellion will send them a thousand miles away because of the angels. I wish I had read that scripture in Timothy when he is talking about covering up because of the angels. They know rebellion, and they come nowhere near it. Cover up. That’s why I wear my tallit sometimes in the presence of the Lord. I’m just trying to cover up. Saints, all of you who said you are waiting on the Lord are actually waiting on an angel. They don't come unless you fear the Lord. You fear Yahweh, but do you fear the men of Yahweh? Do you fear the things of Yahweh? They don’t come to people who don’t tithe. You have no fear of the Lord. What does the fear of the Lord do? It takes His money and throws it out quick. I fear the Lord. It doesn’t mean fear like the Christian Church will tell you. They can twist it any way they want to. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. You 31 better learn how to attract angels. Let me get to the end here. I could preach all night but my strength is quickly leaving. Jacob wrestled with an angel but he said it was Yahweh Who crippled him. It was the Angel of the Lord. I am not going to read this to you, but you can read about it—Paul and Silas in a Roman jail. Do you know what was going on across town at Lydia’s house while they were in jail? They had a prayer meeting. Why? They needed angels! They were over there praying, “Lord, we need help!” It wasn’t the Lord Who was coming. It was angels that delivered them from that prison! They were sentenced to die the next day, but when the angels showed up, Paul and Silas were asleep! Do you know why? Because Lydia screamed out when they were arrested, “We’re praying for you all! We are praying!” They went to sleep because they knew that Lydia was praying. They knew the Church was praying. They knew the angels would show up. They had no fear! They knew that the angels come to prayer! Paul and Silas, you are dying tomorrow! Lydia said, “We’re praying, Pastor Paul, Pastor Silas! We’re praying. Don’t worry about anything.” They didn’t worry. They went to bed. They sang until they fell asleep. They were walking in the fear of the Lord. There were some saints praying, and angels are attracted to prayer meetings. Did you hear me? Angels are attracted to prayer meetings! Rebellious people can’t pray. Do you know why angels will go to prayer meetings? Because the rebellious ones won’t show up. The atmosphere is right. When you pray, you’re covering up. When you pray, you’re covering up with those four wings. About midnight. I will always believe that the reason my life turned out is because I had a little grandma who prayed night and day. She sent angels to walk with me, to talk with me. When I was a little four-year-old boy being molested, that angel showed up. I remember it. When I was being drowned, I saw the angel. Listen to me. These angels are real! You’ve got to become 32 cognizant of angelic activity if you want to be cognizant of the Glory of Yahweh! We’ve got to have the Angels of the Lord! They can’t come around those who don’t fear Him. Fear Him! This verse is one of my favorite verses. You all have to read it, then we are closing. Malachi 3:16. Malachi 3:16 Then those who reverenced Yahweh spoke often to one another, and Yahweh paid attention and heard them; and a Book of Remembrance was written in His presence of those who gave reverence to Yahweh, and who thought upon; considered and regarded, His Name; 17 And they will be Mine! says Yahweh of hosts. Listen to me. Do you know why Yahweh heard them? What they were talking about created the Presence! He said they were talking one to another. Those seraphim when they were saying Holy, holy, holy, they were saying it to one to another. Your conversation can attract angels, or it can send them away. Did you read that verse? He said, “Those who fear My Name were talking one to another about Me, and it was written by the Angels of My Presence. My angels came to them.” If you want the presence of Yahweh tonight, when I’m done, you create the Presence by what comes out of your mouth. When you see Brother Kendrick and you say, “The Lord is so good,” and Daddy says, “Oh yes. He is so good,” you have sparked a call for the angels. What you say will bring angelic activity into your life when you talk to one another about the goodness of the Lord. They don’t come when you’re talking about football. They don’t come when you are talking about whatever. But when somebody says, “I was reading in the Word,” and he says, “I was too,” all of a sudden you will create an 33 atmosphere that sends a beacon up to heaven, and the Angels of the Lord run to where you are. Let us stand tonight, and let’s entertain those angels! Let’s entertain those angels right now! 34
