To Tithe .... or not to Tithe

so tonight we're going to settle the issue how many in this room have struggled with and I want you to be honest with me tonight any of you that are in this room you watch a lot of YouTube videos you watch a lot of teachers in the Hebrew Roots movement y now most of the Hebrew Roots people are very anti- TI how many's come across the teachings that tithing is not for today has anybody come across it let's be honest okay now I have never how many of you been with me from the beginning have you ever heard me teach on tithing I've never touched tithing before but tonight we're going to talk about the law of first fruits what I want to accomplish tonight is I want to find out if tithing is still biblical I want to find out if it was done away with with the law and I want to find out if we're still supposed to be paying our tithe or as the Hebrew Roots Church teach just giving a love offering so we need to find out tonight about tithing is anybody interested in this subject the ballots of it I'm very interested I spent all night I was up to 4:00 no night before last because I have struggled with this subject because the first thing that happens when a preacher begins to preach on tithing immediately he's money hungry that's just the way our minds think and he wants money and so therefore most of us preachers have quit preaching on TI because we don't know how to approach the subject without people wondering what our motive is here's my motive tonight if you're going to be a Sabbath keeper we got to find out if you doing yourself any good by just keeping the sabath and robbing the tithing we need to find that out tonight now the modern Church a lot of the Hebrew Roots people say that the tithing is done away with why because of the levitical priesthood it was done away with and tithing was to be given to whom work with me the Levites but we don't have any more Levites anymore so the tithing was done away with with the Levites tonight when you leave this ministry and those watching around the world I hope that you would consider my teaching tonight compare it to all the other teachings you've heard and let's see which one lines up with the scriptures are you ready amen amen what is the first commandment say it uh yeah yes love the Lord thy God that's the same thing yeah exactly now someone came to yua and they said now Lord Master what is the greatest of all the Commandments right and they were referring to the Ten Commandments they said what is the greatest of all the Commandments and it looks like Yeshua did away with the Ten Commandments when he answered this way and many of you that's on Facebook being battled you're going to deal with this people are going to tell you that Yeshua replaced the Ten Commandments with two Commandments anybody want to tell me what those two are neighbor love your neighbor and love God so because Jesus said that he did away with the decalog which the decalog is The Ten Commandments but actually that's not what Yeshua said Yeshua said that upon these two Commandments hang all the other Commandments now turn your attention with if you will to this door now what are these called hinges hinges there's something hanging on these hinges right amen it is the hinges that connect the door to the frame amen oh hallelujah hallelujah upon these two upon what two loving God and loving your neighbor when you get those two down path it will connect you to all 10 of The Commandments now the first commandment is let's go back the first commandment of the Ten Commandments he said You shall love the Lord thy God with all thine heart now we say that real easy don't we love the Lord okay love the Lord and then love your neighbor and that's all all the Commandments but here's the first commandment let's go to Mark 12 verse 30 and then Luke 10:27 and you shall love Yahweh your Elohim with all your heart with all your being with all your mind with all your strength this is the first command now that's the first commandment you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart your mind your strength you know that sounds good see brother that's the Commandment just love the Lord that sound what's wrong can't find it okay that sounds easy love God just love God but yet how do we love God let's go to Luke 10:27 and answer love Luke 10:27 okay that right he answer and said You shall love your Elohim with all your heart and with all your being and with all your strength and with all your mind and your neighbor is yourself okay that is the great commandment love the Lord now the reason I'm focusing on this commandment tonight is because loving the Lord sounds easy amen it sounds like okay just love God but tonight we're going to find out what that means how many knows that the whole thing is about loving God now how many Commandments do we have in the decalog 10 and the first four Commandments tell you how to love God number one you shall have no other gods before you that's a good way to love him number two thou shal U make no graveen images of other gods that's how you love you number three don't take his name in vain that's a good way to Lov him number four remember the day of Shabbat and keep it holy that's a way to love him those first four Commandments What yua was saying was if you love God you're going to automatically keep the first four Commandments because the first four is about loving God Amen then he said the next Commandments love your neighbor he said if you just love your neighbor the other six Commandments are resting upon that commandment for example how do you love your neighbor it's real easy don't come in adultery with his wife don't come it what he has don't kill him don't steal from him that's how you love your neighbor so I can say brother Patrick uh brother Patrick can say I love brother Vine but if it never does nothing for me if he never helps me if he never cares about me if he never does something he don't love me that's why the Bible said he that says he loves God but that keep his Commandments he's a liar so we got to understand the whole walk with God that you have what does this have to do with the first froup you fix to find out everybody you'll ever meet says they love God but I'm about to say it as straight as I can but if they not giv God his TI they are a liar you cannot love God and Rob him at the same time brother that was done away with I'm going to get there just give me a little bit of time okay all right put Yahweh first do we truly understand this repeated cliche how do we do this how do do we put how many's ever heard your mama say put God F me how many's ever heard people somebody put God F me well that's easy to say brother Ron but what does that mean have you ever heard put God somebody say first within to get first fruit put God first oh we always hear put God first brother what does that mean how do you put God first Hallelujah you got to put him in the first Hallelujah let's read Genesis 4 the way we put God first is by a practice called what first fruits let's go to Genesis chapter 4 and let's start our Bible study tonight Genesis 4 and verse 4 and Abel also brought a the first born of his flock and of their fat and Yahweh looked at Abel and his offering okay now which part did AEL bring to [Music] Yahweh I wake up which part the first part now why did Yahweh project Cain's offering it wasn't the first part it was the part that was left over it was the part he wanted to bring but Abel brought the what first remember put Yahweh first put Yahweh what first what did Abel bring the first fruit of his offering he brought it to Yahweh now the reason I'm going back to Genesis tonight is because all of my Hebrew Roots friends and I love them all they will tell you that the the tithe is done away with because it was part of the law I would like for somebody to tell me if Genesis 4 and4 had anything to do with the law we're going to work on this now all right so the first tiger we find in the Bible was in the age of Grace not the age of law he was in the beginning where the first tiger was able he brought the first fruit of his flock he didn't he went and found the best he went and found the first one that was born brought it to Yahweh what are you bringing to Yahweh see I want to talk to you tonight about putting way first and how do we do that you can't just do it with your mouth you got to do it with something else now let's go to Genesis 141 18-2 read andic Sovereign of Salem brought out Bread and Wine now he was the priest of the most high Elohim and he blessed him and said Blessed Be Abram of the most high High Elohim possessor of the heavens and earth and blessed be the most high Elohim who has delivered your enemies into your hand and he gave him a tenth of all all right let's talk a minute did this take place in the law did that take place in the law then why are you believe in all these Hebrew Roots teachers that say tithing was part of the law AB abam paid tith I mean and and and I want you to notice in verse number 20 it says and he said blessed be the most high who have delivered your enemies into your hand and he gave Yahweh a t of all I got a question for y'all did he go did he just go and throw it up in the air and give it to Yahweh he said he gave it to Yahweh but who that you put it in a man now nobody want to hear this don't nobody cuz you don't need a man you don't need a preacher you just need the Holy Ghost I done dealt with that he who did he give his TI to he said blessed be the most high L which is God and because you have done this for me then he turns around and gives a man 10% I'm going make y'all think tonight because how many times have you heard your friend say I ain't giv no man my money that's what your problem is your demon possessed you don't understand who that man is Abraham did he understood that man was the servant of the most high [Music] God do you know when I was growing up the greatest thing my grandmother and grandfather taught was TIY they taught do you know in Karen's mother and father the same way that generation had a different love for God than this generation has did any of you have parents like I had grandparents that the tith came out before they even went P the light bill honey the tithe came out why because that phrase put God first it ain't something you just say faith without is dead you cannot saying you love God with his money sitting in your pocket oh yeah I been thinking nobody's going to help me tonight Genesis 28 through 20 through 22 and go ahead and Jacob made a vow saying seeing Elohim is with me and has kept me in this world way that I am going and has given me bread to eat and a garment to put on when I have returned to my father's house in peace and Yahweh has been my Elohim then this Stone which I have set as a standing column shall be elohim's elohim's house and of all that you give me I shall certainly give a tent to you before the law or after the law M this is another tither amen we've already had one the first one was able now we had Abraham now we find another tither and and guess what when he said when I get back home I'm going to give you 10% of everything I got he wasn't going to throw it in the air he just going to hand it to a man why because he's not like this demon possess generation he understood that God was in man he understood that and therefore he gave to man listen to me if you don't get this out of your head that the man of God is just like me he puts on his pants like I do he goes to work like I do he's just going to tell you something hey I quit preaching tomorrow and this still be the truth you understand amen he's a man just like me you better watch yourself you better watch yourself why because his office ain't just like you Donald Trump's a man just like me but the moment he gets inaugurated he becomes Mr President to me he becomes my he's a man just like me go down to the county courthouse let your honor walk in the room and see if your behind don't stand up to a man right amen yes sir he's a man just like you ain't he what you doing standing up for him because what he carries is the law what he carries is God ordained Authority and when he walks in the room that may be your best friend Joe blow's the judge down there but the minute Joe Blow puts on a rope you're behind going say yes sir yes sir now what's so funny you have no problem with a worldly judge but the man of God yes sir he's a man just like me get that out of your mind learn I I don't need nobody in this room to love me or to respect I don't that's not what this is about I'm preaching truth whether I'm involved or not I'm trying to help you to understand how to put Yahweh first learn to respect holy things learn to venerate what he has anointed and appointed because when you honor the man that he has appointed you're honoring God that appointed he amen y'all rather me teach you what happens to the dead already thank you sir but when I fix the teachers how to put God first amen how many want to put God first amen amen let's read Proverbs 3 and verse n esteem Yahweh with your goods and with the first fruits of all your incre did you hear esteem god with what with your goods why because that's all you got that's all we have is our Goods brother Tom all you got is your that's all you own in the world see we'll let God I don't care if y'all come back in M I really don't I'll die happy knowing I told you the truth we want God in every area of our life we want to go to Sabbath we want to be commandment Keepers but honey mention that dollar and we'll walk out the church cuz you've not put God first on we got a long way to go was this principle of First Love or first fruit in effect before the law or after the law just to be on you ain't paying attention was read was it before or after the law the ones we just read catch up leave SJ in comeing here now now the tithe was instituted outside of the law but confirmed by the law that's what you need to keep in mind now let's continue we live on a how many of you in this room are ghost anybody here ghost that means we live in a what material world right we live on a physical plane therefore this is the plane that we must demonstrate our love in ladies and gentlemen we don't have sprinkled gold dust and bery dust to give God we don't have anything like that all we have is what we have I went to Elder Smith's home last night and when I got there they had just made groceries well I went to look at pitiful and they went there paid their tithes off their grocery brought me bags of food out there see that why that's all they have that's what they have that's what you got baby I don't want your money I want your tith whatever God's increased you with if if if God has blessed you huh tacos bring tacos whatever the Lord I want how many of you in this room have learned me well enough over the last three years to know I don't want nobody's money in this room how many know that in your heart but I got to preach you the truth hallelujah I cannot let y'all keep not paying tith and thinking you're all right with Yahweh well and by the way by the way I don't know before the devil gets in into your mind I don't know who pays TI here and who don't I don't see the money ever so I don't know I don't think I'm preaching I don't know who pay TI Dion knows but I don't I don't know who PS a dime in this church so when I'm preaching tonight y let the devil come up in your head cuz I don't know anything I I don't know but I do know this I've not dealt with this subject and I've done you harm by not dealing with it we got to get this right Israel now somebody said brother phone in Israel they PID tithes with their produce and their crops and their livestock not with money when you watch the Hebrew Roots teachers that's what they'll say well it was all to do but what you don't understand Israel's economy they didn't have dollars in their economy they didn't have money in their economy they were a bartering people all they had was stuff all right so of course they didn't pay ties with a Shick they didn't have checks back then what they had was chickens and they brought a chicken they whatever they had was their tith they were an agricultural economy and therefore they have of their equivalent of our Moder day money livestock and harvest of the land now when Abraham paid his tithe to a man who did he say he was given that tithe to God or man God now what if he would have been like the modern church and said you just a man I'm going to give my I'm going to give my tithe to the poor I ain't going to give it to the church but you see mzn represented the church order see God is in his church now y'all stay with me now I'm going say something else here you Ain like it your ti don't go to the poor oh brother I'm will help the poor out that's not the Poor's money okay amen there was something in the Bible for the poor it was called arms amen not the tith Amen brother V we could do so much to help the poor Jesus said the poor you're going to have with you always we can't change the world but we can obey God the tithe does not go anywhere where and we're going to get to that in just a moment only one group of people qualify for this verse let's read Isaiah 58 13-4 everybody stay with me Isaiah 58 13-4 if you do not turn back your foot from the Sabbath from doing your pleasure on my set aart day and shall call the Sabbath a delight the set aart day of Yahweh esteemed and shall esteem it not doing your own ways nor finding your own pleasure nor speaking your own words then you shall delight yourself somebody say then then if you do these things then read and I shall cause you to ride on the heights of the earth and feed you with the inheritance of Jacob your father for the mouth of Yahweh has spoken everybody wants to ride on the high places but he said unless you observe what is Holy I will not give you those blessings what is holy the Sabbath is Holy guess what else is Holy the first fruit it's holy unto Yahweh he said if you will not touch what's holy then I'll let you ride on the high places of the earth Hallelujah now the children of Israel were taught that Yahweh was the master and the owner of everything why did they pay their time gladly they believe that everything belonged to Y everything and they believe he just loaned it to them now the same thing applied back in the days of the old monarchies the king of France all the land in France belonged to the king but he let people have the land and they paid him taxes out of appreciation for his land Yahweh owns everything if he's giv you something it's his even though he's let you use it he owns everything do you hear me tonight and if you don't understand that remember the title of this lesson was making generosity very simple can I break the tithe down for you it's generosity to Yahweh thank you sir that's what the tithe is the tithe is thank you sir the tithe is recognizing that it belongs to Yahweh brother do you know everything in your bank account belongs to Yahweh everything mother Smith do you understand everything in your refrigerator belongs to yah the Bible said the Lord give it somebody said I went to work in arm that really who do you think put strength in your legs to get to work who put put long air in your lungs to breathe to get there you wouldn't have anything without Yahweh so when we tied to him it's a thank you sir it's generosity that even though you own it all you gave something to me he owns everything the Bible said he owns a catle a thousand he owns it all but he gives you your blessing he gives you your little plot of land he gives you your house he gives you your food and then when you don't even turn around with a thank you sir yes sir yes sir amen but yet you putting God first amen you're not putting God first you're putting you first and that my friend will cause your life to carry a curse why because he's only obligated to those that are generous and thankful and thank him and re how do we know do you want to know how you know how you feel about Yahweh I'm going to tell you every service when we open up for this offering if that little thing comes over your heart like oh lord it's offering time again then you you don't love it you don't love it but when it comes time to give of what he's given you brother if he gave you a deep freezer full of chickens give him some chicken yes sir especially if it's fried with hallowen PE give him some chicken got a recipe bless the Lord why I'm trying to teach you how to put yeh first sir he gave it all to you now give me something back I that you know think about it sister Joanna think about this you know a dollar bill is made up of $10 right right wake up Jud okay a dollar bill is made up of $10 Yahweh lays 10 Downs on the table he says they're all mine but I'm going to give them all to you are you going to give me any of it back all see he could say I'm taking nine and you're keeping one but he says no I'll take one you keep the N what a good God we it's his money he it's his blessings that house you're living in he gave that to you and whenever you when you house a stranger in it when you love someone when you do you you got to do something to say thank you sir yes sir otherwise we become rebellious children yes sir only taking and never giving this is the reason that Israel pay a tithe of all the land produced now brother Bon I don't pay tithes because the children of Israel they paid what came off of the land and that's all they had to pay really so if I can prove to you right now that everything you got came from the land would you pay your time do you know everything you do everything you do what kind of job you got what's in that bank what's that money made out of comes out of the what land what kind of job I got I sell cars what are cars made out of steel where the steel come from the land what what what them clothes you wear cotton where does cotton come from the land that Bible you read made out of trees where the tree the Land Oil where does oil come from for land you work at the gas station where did the gas come from come on somebody everything in the world comes out of the land yes sir oh we Hebrew Roots we we not going to pay money because you only pay what comes out of the land everything every job in the world comes from the land where do you me come on come on where where do you think diamonds you work at the jewelry store where the diamonds come from the land talk to me tell me you going to take times from the land it all comes from the land every bit of it I'm talk I'm talking to some of y'all I'm talking to some of y'all watching Hebrew groups talking about we ain't going to pay TI because they didn't PID money back then yeah they did they paid their form of money what they had everything comes out of the land uh a tree steel PR what everybody of food you ate today where it come from the land so whenever you give your tithe you're given from the land and everything you've got Yahweh required the first BN let's go to Exodus 4 21-23 I'm almost done Exodus 4 21-23 and Yahweh said to Moses as you go back to M see that you do all those wonders before Pharaoh which I have put in your hand but I am going to harden his heart so that he does not let the people go and you shall say to Pharaoh thus sayth Yahweh Israel is my son my firstborn so I say to you let my son go to serve me but if you refuse to let him go see I am killing your son your firstborn yeah you ever wondered why God killed all the firstborn sons in Egypt what that mean what that heart he kills all the firstborn you don't understand Israel he just said was his firstborn son think about it why did Yahweh kill all these firstborn sons of Egypt because according to this verse Israel was his firstborn son now here's what you got to understand Yahweh and Hosea 11 and one you don't have to read that you can look it up later he says Israel is my firstborn son uhhuh now you took my firstborn son into slavery either let him go because the first is mine now why was he worried about all those other nations they was his oh no no no the first harvest is his the first fruit the first born is his he said you took my first son I'm taking all of yours unless you give no no that wasn't mean that's called Justice that wasn't mean honey that was the law now the very word firstborn son what does that imply that there's going to be other Sons or nations born to get those other nations he cannot lose claim to the oh my God if Israel is his firstborn son that means that's not is going to be his only son no but he he he got to hold on to the first harvest to get the other Harvest he's got to hold on to the first fruit because that belongs to him right now Hallelujah he must lay claim to the first born why because if he gets the first born that represents all the born hallelujah what did Paul say if I get you holy the whole Lu will get holy see because I I just got to hold on to the tithe and if I get the tith I get everything Yahweh wants the first why because sister Shea if he gets 10% of what you've got that means he's got everything youve got because the tide represents the whole the the first born represent everything that's ever going to be born the reason he's got to get the church holy right now Israel is because if he gets us holy he's going to get the whole world holy but he can't get them holy till he gets us holy we are the tithe amen why are we the ti we're the first harvest Hallelujah we are the first if he gets us he's already got everybody else he but got to get us first and then the rest of them come when we come because we going to bring in the sheet when we come in we are the ti Hallelujah do you know what yua was do you know that God himself paid ties than oh yeah Yu was the firstborn son yeah and what did Yahweh do he gave his only begotten son his firstborn son and planted that seed in the earth called the grave put it in the Earth let it sit there and when he got up we came up with him he paid his time he got all of us from the ti Hallelujah you've got to get the principle of tithing not the law of tithing but the principle of the tithe you got to understand that the beginning he he wants the beginning Israel was separated as what holy what is the Sabbath it's separated as so if you are Sabbath keeper but you keeping the ti if you break this law you broke them all the first part of your Incas is Holy unto Yahweh what is the title of Y the first and the last he makes two claims on you the first fruit of your increase and the last day of your week the first and the last if he can get your first heart your first fruit he's God in your life and then if you can get the last part of your week he's God in your life you were identifying with the first and the last oh that's good if you did it I wish I wake up the first and the last the first fruit and the seventh day when you identify you're identifying with the first amen and the last amen is that why he has the Sabbath at the beginning and the end of Tabernacle absolutely you're exactly right that's good stuff the first fruit has a sacred purpose Your Love towards Yahweh is demonstrated in your first fruit I tell you what if you don't believe in tithing change the name to First fruit and get over it you ain't got to say you tithing just I'm giving first fruit all right we done with the whole tithe and argument now we first fruit see it's the principle Your Love towards Yahweh is if I never gave my wife thing that's I can say I love you all day but it's when we give of what we've got that we show our love put God first I don't know why we make tithing so difficult when it's a principle how was the tithe used under the law now the tithe already existed then Moses came along and set up the law now Moses knew the ti it was already in effect it was already force it was already being done Moses now brings it into the law now how was it used under the law stay with me you can't just throw your money in the air and give it to God oh I'm going give my money to God all right how show me how you going to mail it up there what you going to do we live in a material plane and Yahweh has placed his presence where church amen he said that he has placed his presence in his church his bride amen his called out ones I know the word church is controversial but you know what I'm talking about I'm talking about the congregation the called out ones he has placed his name there he has placed his presence in this mystical body called the church amen this is where he is tonight oh yeah so if you're going to give to God you have no other way to give than to the church why he said he purchased the church with his own blood this is his the church belongs to the congregation the the Cal belongs to I know a couple word but some folks don't I'm just trying to get on everybody's level now the the the the the the the Cal the eia the call I know more than you think I know but I'm trying my best to get a principle to you this is where his presence is and and we do a good work in the earth oh yes thousands of people every day see our teachings around the world our booklets are placed in people's hands we are spreading the coming kingdom of God message to everyone we can find that is called the work I'm looking for every Avenue possible to get the message out I'm looking to go on radio we're looking at several things to get this that is the work do you know that's our calling is to get the message out of the coming kingdom of God and guess what none of that is free and I going to pick up a box of booklets it's $100 it's not free so do you think that Yahweh didn't know that his church would have to function to get the message out that's right do you not think he had a plan to do that he's got to finance his church and listen he ain't mailing us money from Heaven lately [Music] amen I didn't get nothing from Heaven I get some paypals from God I like them my little thing Rings you got money Hallelujah honey see but it comes from what people why y'all don't like what I'm teaching why everybody act like gave another world because listen you got to learn where your blessings come from do you know brother do you know God God ain't going to give me no chicken like you gave me last night unless you give it to me God ain't never gave me no chick without using somebody to hand it to amen see ain't no money coming to this ministry from God unless you give it don't you understand amen everybody like well I'm just waiting on the Lord dummy he sent you a boat he sent you a helicopter he sent everything to get you out the flood you still waiting on God Amen why because God uses men to finance his work remember this God does not give money to you he gives money through you amen thank you sir always remember that God don't bless you to give it to you He blesses it to give it through you right and that's that's that that's the truth children you got to learn to love God by the way you give now the church the temple the ministry had to be supported or else the priest would have had to go to work and they couldn't focus on their calling but the priest had to be supported and God had a plan the tithe that they were already paying was going to be set aside for the work of the priest the priest had no inheritance in the land they were to be separated for Holy work and therefore the tithes would care for their needs remember this order of PR priest replaced the mesic priesthood timing did not start for the Levites nor end with the Levites did yall repeat that or end with the Levites do you know that's what most people believe though all of my good BR root friends I love them to death but they think the tithe was for the levite no the tithe already existed and now God transferred it to the Levites I'm going to show you how it works now what is the difference in the mesing order of tithing and the levitical Order of tithing what is the difference voluntary versus involuntary if you didn't do it under the levitical priesthood you'd die nobody made Abraham pay ties to mches nobody there was no law that said you got to pay your time and can I tell you something else there's none today that thing in in Malachi that if a man robbed God because he didn't pay his T that law is not in effect no more I'll be the first to tell you oh no there's no longer a law yes that says you have to pay your ti or you'll go to hell it's not in the Bible we used to preach it was not in the book you ain't never got to give God a dime never and you know what I don't I don't even I I don't think you go to hell if you never I don't think you go to hell for not paying time no not at all cuz there ain't no law that says you have to oh I know y'all look at me funny all to there's no law outside of the levitical priesthood that says you pay TI or you die no no no now we've reverted back to the mesic priesthood now we give tithe we don't pay tithe did you hear me it is on Amen now we give TI like Abraham did because God is good yeah yeah come on we guti now because he gave us everything we know it we don't need a law anymore to tell us to give him the tithe why because we love him we love him from a place so deep inside of us that we wish we could give more than 10% we wish that was the leash we could give him no law no it's something greater than law it's spirit amen I Don't Look Down When anybody don't pay their ties but I will tell you this I pretty much know your heart if you don't thank you sir because what happens is you don't truly realize he gave you everything you got how do I know that you ain't said thank you sir by giving the tithe back to him now what is the Hebrew meaning of the word tide it's the word Mahir it's from the Hebrew root word es the word AER occurs only in relation I love this to the dedic ation of one's life and substance to the most high God as the one who gives all victories and holds all power over all his creation the underlying meaning of the word a is the holding together and The Binding Together of the givers and the receivers relationship there's the word I'm looking for here's the word I'm looking for the a means relationship God that's good when The Giver dedicates the tithe of his substance to the receiver the most high Yahweh is the receiver of the tithe and the payer of the tithe is the giver For Whom the most high Yahweh has wrought many victories and to whom he has given possessions
