article I'm not going to lie to you I literally had a moment of fear and I don't get fear and please don't nobody preach at me I know everything's going to be all right I get that but for the first time in my American Life I felt a fear of being a Christian and I've never felt that in America but I'm fixing to read this article to you and when you hear what's in this article you need to share this if you know Christians that need to hear this report we must I I've got you got to hear it and then after the article I'm going to tell you how this corresponds 5 to president Trump and while we must get this man back in office Yahweh is going to do it but we've got to do our part and I'm going to show you in this article why it's so important okay I'm gonna pull the article up we're going to read it together hopefully you can see it on the screen when I share it this is an article that was just put out by MSN of course I don't normally read MSN but it popped up on my news feed here's the title of the article Christian nationalism and biblical literalism independently predict conspiracy thinking a study has found let me break that down for you let me 6 tell you what that means that means according to Joe Biden the greatest threat to America is what domestic terrorism correct a study has been launched to find out who this greatest threat against America is what kind of people are they how do they think the study has released its results and it is found that you are America's greatest threat and I am not being hype I'm not using hyperbole I'm not being dramatic because I'm fixing to read the article I'll tell you what it made my hair stand up on the back of my head notice what this lady's holding in this picture a picture of Yeshua Jesus she's 7 the terrorist a new study has found that both Christian nationalism and biblical literalism are independently associated with a greater tendency to believe in conspiracy theories when people believed in both Christian nationalism and they took the Bible literally their distrust of government officials increased significantly these findings were published in the journal for the scientific study of Religion so this is a scientific study that has been Unleashed upon the citizenship of the United States it provides insight into the socio-cultural factors that contribute to the spread and the 8 Persistence of conspiracy beliefs in certain populations here are these key words now the researchers were motivated by the growing concern over the harmful effects of conspiracy theories such as the spread of misinformation about the covid-19 vaccine and the belief in a stolen election narrative which led now it's these two according to this study it's these two types of thinking that led to the January the sixth insurrection at the United States capitol they sought in this study to better understand the factors that contribute to the endorsement of conspiracy theories within specific 9 religious and ideological context here's what they found folks biblical literalism is the problem this refers to an approach to interpreting religious texts such as the Bible in a strictly literal and word for word combines Christianity with some type of sense that America was rooted in Christian values and principles and it often advocates for policies and laws based on those beliefs okay wait a minute I'm sorry so if you believe the Bible is really true and if you believe that America was founded in Christian values you are the danger we found the problem scientifically bring it to our government show them who the problem in this nation is show them who they must begin to crack down on folks this stuff is real boy this article is literally jolted me like many we were deeply affected by the sharp 12 divisions fueled by conspiracy theories that arose around the election and covet 19. 13 explain the study author Brooklyn Evan Walker we need to research that lady who is Brooklyn Evan Walker she's an instructor of political science we noted that conspiracy theories related to covid-19 and the big lie gain Traction in religious communities that tended towards biblical literalism and Christian nationalism leading us to wonder if either of these two aspects of American religion were related to a broader tendency for Americans to think in a conspiratorial way to conduct the study the researchers used data from the 2019 wave of the Chapman University survey of American fears which 14 included measures of Christian nationalism biblical literalism and various demographic variables the survey was administered online it actress it asked respondents and then it goes on to tell you how they did the study Christian nationalism links being Christian to being American in the view of many Christian nationalists this linkage is threatened by secularization and other social changes biblical literacy is the belief that each word in the Bible should be accepted as God's word spoken counteract it the agenda has nothing to speak the opposite of what it's saying let me show you when Donald Trump was elected in 16 do you know that he set up an office in the white house right by the Oval Office do you know who that office was for ministers Christian leaders he set them up in office to be next to him 17 how many pictures did you see when they would gather a Jetson Franklin and all of them and Rod Parsley praying for Trump on a consistent basis they had access to his office now he gets up and shows these biblical literalist people I don't agree with all of them but they do believe the Bible is the word of God and as long as someone like him is showcasing and grandstanding these people and putting them in positions of prominence that all of a sudden gives another voice for the nation to hear besides the agenda this is how Donald Trump can help save America from this radical agenda he folks I 18 just had to come on live tonight I just had to talk about this we must is bigger than whether you don't like what he did with the vaccine or not this is bigger than that get your eyes off the trees 20 you've got to see the forest this is a battle literally for the very freedom of religion and Donald Trump's speech this weekend in North Carolina in Georgia freedom of religion first day in office what he's going to do to stop this agenda he's the only man that cannot
